Once again, Uncharted took from Hollywood, Indiana Jones, and some of Bond. 007 is just taking back what's his, no different from Indy. The Bond game doesnt look good at all to me. Just a reskin of an uncharted game.
I mean where Uncharted came from doesn't really matter though, because Uncharted turned that formula into a game first, therefore every game doing the same shit is going to be compared to Uncharted. Just like games get compared to Dark Souls or Rogue-lites, etc. It just is what it is. Enjoy the game, but I'ma pass cuz i dont even watch 007 movies.Once again, Uncharted took from Hollywood, Indiana Jones, and some of Bond. 007 is just taking back what's his, no different from Indy.
There is more than 'reskin' of Uncharted going on. It's clear you were looking at different preview. Though since you're not interested; fine by me.
And? So long it's done great or good, I'm not gonna be bothered by this. It's called, give it a chance and see what happens. Keep in mind, i'm not a hardcore Uncharted fan, but I respect the series enough for what it did and really enjoy the second game.mean where Uncharted came from doesn't really matter though, because Uncharted turned that formula into a game first, therefore every game doing the same shit is going to be compared to Uncharted.
I don't have a problem with this, but that only further proves my point. If you watched any of the 007 films, especially the late 90s-2000s Brosnan era at the time (Craig era was still one movie in by the time of UC1, but even then you could see the influences), you can see where Uncharted 1 & 2 gets its influences aside from Indy.dont even watch 007 movies.
Wow that sucks. Usually they fix Civ games and make them good after a year and a expansion. RIP.Oups, looks like civ 7 being broken and unfinished is here to stay
I still can't believe how hard they bungle that release.
Only thing I liked was the gun throw, but I only skimmed through the hand-to-hand fights and sneaking that were after the party, car chase and gunfight with red barrels or equivalent EVERYWHERE.The Bond game doesnt look good at all to me. Just a reskin of an uncharted game.
Truth and facts! Some people like to hear themselves biatch, because they're entitled fools who have high opinions of themselves with nothing better to do. Thinking they're the only "smart and sane ones" in the room. That said, it seems to be a bit of a trend where people have learned getting hyped is not the right idea...but going the opposite route and complaining about everything with maybe a vague "well, that was okay" from time to time is a better route. It isn't. Just makes it seem like you don't enjoy anything, and why would we listen to someone clearly out to hate something for existing,
I know you were already corrected on this, but you still have a point either way.AT LEAST the OG Metal Gear Solid...and if anything, was more ridiculous then because you could go extra quiet by crawling everywhere. Complaining about crouch stealth is like playing a first person shooter and complaining that the shotgun is a short range weapon. It's...pretty much going to be the case in any game in the genre, so you either just deal with it as a quirk, or accept that maybe the genre's not for you. Which is not a problem, most Soulslike games aren't for me, but I don't watch trailers for them and complain about how dark and gloomy they are.
Sharing the same wave length with you right now. That's the type people I can't a lot in gaming or movie sphere. My point is more towards going from that to "This game is going to be absolutely terrible [and I'm going to imply that people who are looking forward to this game or think it looks good are wrong]" where I run into issues. Or flat-out say "I haven't watched the trailer, but I know the game's going to suck because James Bond sucks now".
Glad you do. I've done so as well more than couple of times, and not ashamed to admit it.That was a mistake. I'll own up to it.

Because there is a certain amount of social credit you get for being against the grain and criticism sounds smarter then liking something. Why is it that some people feel the need, whenever they see positive reaction to something, to come in and say "No, actually, it sucks"? Now, granted, I've been waiting for this game pretty much since it was announced, because the developers of the new Hitman games making a James Bond game felt like a match made in heaven. Now that I've seen gameplay footage, it seems promising. Now, will it be great? Or as solid to play as it seems? Maybe, maybe not. I'm leaning more towards "yes" because of IO Interactive's proven success, but I'm not foolish enough to think that makes it impossible they could stumble.
That said, it seems to be a bit of a trend where people have learned getting hyped is not the right idea...but going the opposite route and complaining about everything with maybe a vague "well, that was okay" from time to time is a better route. It isn't. Just makes it seem like you don't enjoy anything, and why would we listen to someone clearly out to hate something for existing, or being vaguely similar to something else, or using game mechanics that have been around for at least 27 years and are a common trope in their genre? The idea of "crouching as a quieter walk" has been around since AT LEAST the OG Metal Gear Solid...and if anything, was more ridiculous then because you could go extra quiet by crawling everywhere. Complaining about crouch stealth is like playing a first person shooter and complaining that the shotgun is a short range weapon. Yeah, a contrarian know-nothing, know-it-all punk ass biatch who thinks they're hot shit, and just another loudmouth with a shallow opinion. Treating like they're opinion is a fact of life.Because there is a certain amount of social credit you get for being against the grain and criticism sounds smarter then liking something.
In the original Metal Gear Solid, only certain floors make noise that guards will notice if you run across them, and lacking the ability to walk with a half-press of the analog stick because it was originally made before the Dualshock controller, avoiding them or crawling were your only options to cross them quietly. Of course, if you avoid them, then crawling isn't as important except for getting cover behind low objects or getting into vents (or underneath the tank in the hangar).Huh. Strange, it seems like I can't find a single MGS playthrough where players don't crawl practically everywhere. Guess I just assumed that it made a difference, rather than players just doing it for funsies.
