If a child draws a picture from a Connect-the-dots book, are they stealing? Is a cosplayer stealing when making a costume from someone else's creation?
Did the child steal the book, and did the cosplayer steal the costume? If the answer is no, then no.

You are just thinking in the black and white of all A.I. is bad and that's the end of it. And that's simply wrong. It doesn't really matter what Larion is doing because people have already sperged out on the A.I, even though the CEO literally said they didn't lay off any artists because of it.
No, I'm thinking in the current consequences of A.I. which I previously stated. All of which are terrible and vastly outway whatever benefit it might have.

Companies that laid people off in favor of A.I. you have to look at why. If they got layoff because they were doing redundant jobs that A.I. solves, then oh well. How many farmhands got fired as farm machinery got more and more advanced. A.I is just a tech tool that will change the way jobs are done in addition to eliminate some that are basic jobs in the first place. Just like the check-outs, the ordering Kiosks, robots that build cars which literally destroyed Detroit, but you know what happened to those factory workers? The smart workers learned how to maintain and service the machines that now do the car building. They evolved their skillset in order to keep jobs in the same industry.

This is how technological progression happens. You can not like it but it isn't the 100% evil you are making it out to be.
Dude, I didn't even trust lay-offs before it was done in favor of A.I. - what makes you think I trust it when it's the actual cause? Guess which jobs are the most redundant; Executives and CEO's. Guess who's doing all the firing in favor of A.I. The notion that firing people (for anything other than breaking the law or flat-out being bad at their job) simply leads to a more efficient society and seperates the wheat from the chaff is 'living under a rock' levels of naive.

Ugghhh..... There goes my plan to upgrade my PC anytime sooner. I was waiting for RTX 5000 super series and upgrade everything else along with it, but I guess that's not happening.

Also, fuck you Micron.

Kotaku reports that WB's gaming section was not a factor for Netflix in determining the value of the company as a whole.

Not the most comforting of news for the future of WB Games.
Good. Maybe now those studios can gtfo of that toxic relationship and over to someone that gives a crap.

Doesn't seemed to have done their Steam reviews any harm.
Yep. It also doesn't stop all the glazing the game is getting, plus still holding onto all those awards from the TGA.

I personally think it definitely deserves to be called GOTY, as the game itself is amazing and the usage of AI was kept to a minimum level AFAIK

Well this is weird, from apparently finally decided to port older armored core game to PC... with a port of a mobile only game?

That fucking SUCKS. Cliche as it sounds, the man created the games that defined my childhood, hell pretty much my entire gaming life. Horrible way to end the year.
OMG, this is a huge blow. He's behind the actually good COD games, as well as Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor.

I guess we'll never get to see the third Jedi game, or very butchered version of what he had envisioned

Whatever, just wash your hands.

I mean this as sincerely as I've ever meant it.
For as much as that scene is memed. It was actually a pretty touching and well done scene in the game. They probably shouldn't have let the player have any control there so they could have avoided the mockery. Anyway, press F to pay respects.

I was a COD kid but I think I'll always see him as the man behind Titanfall 2. It's one of the first games that made me think game devs were insanely talented people.

This is depressing to hear. I was never big into a majority of COD titles, but I knew talent when I witnessed it. It's sad to see a genuinely good and talented person life get cut short. My heart goes out to his co-workers, partners, friends, and family.

Oh, you know he was reckless. Funny, all I'm seeing in news reports is that he was driving a Ferrari, was leaving a tunnel, and crashed into a concrete barrier. Could have been reckless, could have had a car malfunction. In fact, the local news said exactly this.

"Details about what led to the crash off the winding forest road overlooking Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Valley also were not immediately available. A witness provided video of the crash involving a 2026 Ferrari 296 GTS to authorities that shows the red car slamming into the barrier just after exiting the tunnel." And I love how you throw in that his passenger was killed as well (ejected through the windshield, while Zampella got trapped in the car and burned to death, fucking yikes). Seriously, I wanted to just let your comment go, but WHAT THE FUCK?
