Yeah that game is now on my list. I am curious to see what a modern take on that will be.Fable is on my Steam wishlist. Looks like fun.
I'm glad i'm still not interested. They're probably going to reboot this game again, turn it into something else, and then wait another ten or fifteen years.![]()

...do as you please, I do however wonder what precicely is so offensive with that remake in your eyes?I actually deleted everyone on my Steam friends list who had MGS Delta wishlisted, months ago. Was shocked by how many there were.
I know, right? Spontaneously I would say the various Ubisoft sandboxes have a proven track record no matter how played out it can seem nowadays whereas Beyond Good and Evil consists of one (1) game that infamously didn't reach a big audience. Then again, maybe the plan is to let their sandboxes lie dormant until people have a hankering for the games again, and that is the rare big release that does not fit the mold.I'm thinking BG&E2 must be a pet project for some high up exec or otherwise very influential figure within Ubisoft, because it's persistence is otherwise rather baffling.
I played BG&E for the first time over a decade ago when it was already a decade old, and it really didn't hold up [to me] then, and it's more than twice as old now. I think anyone still holding out hopes for a sequel is doing so strictly on the principle that they were promised one and never received one. It's like a grown man still crushing on the memory of a 10-year-old girl from grade school who he hasn't seen in 20 years... weird and creepy.I'm thinking BG&E2 must be a pet project for some high up exec or otherwise very influential figure within Ubisoft, because it's persistence is otherwise rather baffling.
They're better off without you. Especially over something so petty. I don't get mad at my friends online or in real life, for the games they play.I actually deleted everyone on my Steam friends list who had MGS Delta wishlisted, months ago. Was shocked by how many there were.
I played it once back when it came out at a friend's and I really didn't see the big deal or hype, other than female protagonist who is not played for fan service. So many better female characters in general have come out since then.I played BG&E for the first time over a decade ago when it was already a decade old, and it really didn't hold up [to me] then, and it's more than twice as old now. Just for it existing and nothing more. He can't handle the fact that people enjoy it.For the right reasons, even though it has the old school gameply features, id one chooses to do so.as you please, I do however wonder what precicely is so offensive with that remake in your eyes?
My god, some of those requirements sound exhausting. Especially the gold ones:Hey Highguard news....kinda. The Trophy list on playstation has been revealed.
The game is out in 3 days btw. Still no marketing.
Multiplayer achievements are always shit always. Because they never are personal achievements and always require you to not be grouped with idiots. My god, some of those requirements sound exhausting. Especially the gold ones:
They all sound like insanely conditional achievements. Especially the ones regarding the time limit. Sounds like the opposing team needs to be terrible or throw matches.
- Win 5 Raid Mode matches in under 10 minutes
- During Overtime, wipe the enemy team as the last man standing (Awarded on match completion)
- Win a Raid Mode match in under 12 minutes with at least one member of your team never dying
Maybe had I played it in its time (2003?), or if I was younger than my +30 years at the time (like, if I were 10-12 years old,) I might feel differently about it, but playing it a decade later in the 2010s, it looked and played every second of its age. Wonky, unengaging, silly, boring, and ultimately pointless. I'm nostalgic for a lot of things, so I can empathize with how some people are passionate about wanting a sequel, but on the outside looking in, I can't help but feel those people are pining for something that just wouldn't hold up today without being a substantially different game to what they remember.I played it once back when it came out at a friend's and I really didn't see the big deal or hype, other than female protagonist who is not played for fan service. My only positive experience with multiplayer achievements goes all the way back to Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2. I don't know what it was about that game uniquely, but it remains the only one where I rarely experience all the typical bullshit you get in most online lobbies. People were generally nice and cooperative; I think I added about 20-25 friends from that game alone. There was one achievement which tasked your group to hold off waves of baddies for a whole hour,; I died in the first 10 minutes, and had to spectate from the afterlife as the group kept playing. I was going to drop and try again with another group, but a stranger told me to stay while they kept fighting because he thought I might still get the achievement. It worked. You don't get that kind of encouragement from strangers online ever; I expected to get cussed out for dying so quickly, but instead strangers offered to fight for me and enjoy the spoils we'd all set out to get. It was awesome.Multiplayer achievements are always shit always. Because they never are personal achievements and always require you to not be grouped with idiots.

NVIDIA Pushing RTX 5090 Prices to $5000 in 2026, Rumor Claims
It has been claimed in a recent report that NVIDIA and AMD are preparing to launch unprecedented price hikes in the GPU space in 2026.insider-gaming.com
....You know, AMD is looking mighty-fine these days
I explained in our Delta thread. It does offend me. The makers don't understand the original game. Why choices were made. Not having altered and expanded areas makes it completely useless....do as you please, I do however wonder what precicely is so offensive with that remake in your eyes?
