Just the online summoning and invasion functionality. The whole game is still playable.
That fucking suuuuuucks.
Although FROM games always implement Coop in the least intuitive way possible ( having to use consumables, only being able to summon in certain zones, having to re-summon after bosses, having to summon through some dumb in-game mechanic rather than just a menu ) they are great fun to play through with friends, exploring areas together, fighting bosses together, in Bloodborne's case clearing Chalice Dungeons together.
Fuck FROM Software for this, it's just a couple of Linux servers somewhere running this code, it shouldn't cost them much to just keep them operational.
Also, online chalice dungeon Glyph searching, does this go out the window too now? Fuck them.
Almost certainly fake, because From's official and only twitter handle is @fromsoftware_pr, and afaik, that @fromsoftwareusa one doesn't even exist. Also, if it were real, you'd think at least one games news outlet would've reported on it, considering even the vaguest rumor about Bloodborne gets articles and videos, and there's nothing in the last few days except for april fools.
