I must say I am also in no way impressed by what this guy did in the first place. Whatever his intentions were he allowed people to play pirated games on the console. If I gave weapons to every single person in the world then I would be responsible for the bloodbath, as it would always have been inevitable. It would be far better to show sony how allowing users to upload their own homemade games could be profitable for them rather than hacking the system.

Honestly, I really hate the whole "f*ck the system" attitude which is often found in my age group. It really is just a bunch of douchebags who think they are saving the world because they are annoying some random business.

Funding?! What funding? At this point, Hotz'd be lucky if he passed the hat around and actually ended up with anything more than thirty-five cents in loose change been tossed in it. And whatever he may have collected before he lost all credibility is unlikely to be sufficient to underwrite a class-action. Those thing can be a huge money vacumn. And the spotlight that's shining on him is increasingly illuminating him for all to see as the complete douche-bag that he is.

They appeal to the teenage market and brain wash them into thinking that you are a "hardcore" gamer if you spend $60 a week on our pallet swap games "e.g call of duty"
They limit the ways new software can be gotten so your FORCED to buy software THEY give you and in all that time the excuse to lock the console for licensed developers is to prevent "piracy"

Maybe because I enjoy playing games, IE: Call of Duty (Got hacked the hardest.)
