Yeah, that's pretty fucked up, I hope they don't alert the people who ate it, best they don't know.

In Soviet Russia, Baker make you for pie.

Couldn't help it...

Anyways, that's disturbing and fucked up in equal amounts.

Okay internet, let me start by saying this:

I'm sorry, I am so so sorry, but I have to make this joke.

Cupcakes anyone?
I'm confused... What's this about cupcakes?
A My Little Pony fanfic that will make you cry every time you ever see Pinkie Pie ever again.
When I read it, it was Rainbow Dash... bloody thing depressed me for a week AND I ONLY READ HALF OF IT!!! Couldnt read any more, far to depressing, I dont understand snuff lovers.
Oh come on, it wasn't that bad. You just try reading Sweet Apple Massacre, then we'll talk.

I... I fear I'll get a ban just saying what it is about publicly. Let's just say Pinkie is nothing compared to Big Mac.
Split by Love is pretty sad too. RD and AJ do a lesbian and pinkie murders AJ, tries to kill RD and ends up committing suicide. then RD lives alone on a mountain not eating or drinking for like a month.
i though "what about Fluttershy?"
Surprisingly good story, though a bit shortened at parts.
Anyway, I think a lot of people won't approve of a discussion over MLP fanfic in here so maybe we should leave it at that.

Wait, did Gizmodo call the singing in Sweeney Todd annoying? It's about as unoffensive in terms of willing suspension of disbelief as a musical can get, and the actual soundtrack is nothing short of amazing.

OT: That's pretty messed up. I'm not sure what else there is to say about a man killing his father in law and baking him into pies. I wonder if he sold them as "Long-pork-pot-pies."

Long Pig is almost as tasty as dog.

It's the Daily Mail... it's probably pure bullshit along with the rest of their stories.

Hm... I cant wait till we see the Hipster Pinkie Pie that says I was doing cannibalism before it was cool or something.

Other then that... meh? this is only helping to prove Russia is sinking back to a third world country.

Now, here's the question I'm most concerned with: Go through the posts on this thread and count the number of people who admit to curiosity about how we taste, or at least admit that they become hungry after reading the article summary.

See, I took culinary arts classes in college, and in the class "fundamentals of meat analysis" when looking at the different sections of the animal, we used the human body to get an idea of exactly where the cut of meat was located. Armed with the knowledge from that class and a couple others, I have a pretty good idea which parts of the human body is best for which dishes and cooking methods.
In other words, if I saw this guy baking his father-in-law into meat pies, it's even odds I would give him cooking tips before turning his crazy ass in.

So for all you folks who are concerned for their mental well-being because of taste-curiosity or feeling hungry after reading through the thread, you can all believe me when I tell you that you are all the sane ones.

For all the mention of Sweeney Todd, Titus Andronicus and Cupcakes, it seems people forgot about Fried Green Tomatoes.

Really... thats just wrong, although it does remind me of the strange meat pie from fallout 3, but really, just wrong.

That's fucking sick. Trying to come off as clever and sophisticated after shit like this happens in my home country isn't exactly easy. Way to stay classy, Russia.

Either he's a huge musical theatre fan or just a very disturbed individual. Maybe both. Whatever the reason, murdering someone and baking them in to meat pies isn't original, but it is ghastly. (Annnd, possibly delicious?)

It's a real life Sweeney Todd but without all the annoying singing. The Daily Mail UK reports that a Russian cafe owner has been arrested on suspicion of murdering his father-in-law, grinding up his flesh, and possibly serving him up in as many as "two dozen" meat pies.

Moscow authorities haven't released the names of alleged murderer or his delicious victim. We do know that this seems to be a regular occurrence in Russia. In 2009 two cannibals killed and then ate parts of a 16-year old girl. Recently, another cook killed a guy and made sausages and meatballs from his corpse. So if you visit Russia and have a hankering for a savory pastry, we humbly suggest you visit the frozen section of the local supermarkets.

Disturbing this is. At least it wasn't USA or Japan this time >_>

Also inb4 bad soviet Russia jokes.

i was thinking the same thing about sweeny todd...
bet the pies would taste salty...

God, that is good.

...

And now I'm very hungry.

'Annoying singing'? Hey, take your musical-hate elsewhere!

>.> Oh, erm, yes about the cannibalism...terrible, just terrible. It makes quite a sensationalistic story, though. *insert penny dreadfuls-Daily Mail comparison here*
