I'd actually play this game. the real halo 4 probably not.webepoop said:Master Chief takes off his suit. Turns out he's two midgets standing on each other's shoulders.
That paraphrase is the statement from basically every business that was once small and is now big.Sylveria said:"The internet is an awesome place... until it's no longer an awesome place."
Paraphrased: "Freedom is good till it affects our bottom line."
This is interesting. How do two people stand on each others' shoulders at the same time? Do they take turns, or does one have to handstand?webepoop said:Master Chief takes off his suit. Turns out he's two midgets standing on each other's shoulders.
10 bucks says the guy speaks fluent french and is not from canadaThe Rookie Gamer said:Yeah, I've seen a few of the spoilers, and they've already had full streams of the game. A bit depressing, to be honest.
I'm curious as to who and/or where they got the disks from.
I hear that at the end, MC takes his mask off and you get to pick whether his eyes are Red, Green, or Blue, but it makes no difference.webepoop said:Master Chief takes off his suit. Turns out he's two midgets standing on each other's shoulders.
to be fair this is a gold disk, unlike PC digital xbox has to press teh final game over a month before release to ensure it gets to the stores on time.llubtoille said:Microsoft as a business probably doesn't care terribly much, as you said they'll still cash in on this either way.
However this does cause them to loose face in general, it shows they're susceptible to such leaks.
The ones who are probably most disapointed with the leak would be the makers who for the last three+ years have poured their efforts into making the game, their glorious unveiling has now been rather tarnished.
A bit like if a famous artist spent three years painting something in secrecy, then a month before it's finished someone sneaks in and snaps a shot of it.
Everyone who's interested will see this unfinished piece of work and judge it as the final product; in addition it will prematurely burn public interest, so by the time the actual piece is unveiled, most will say 'yeah we saw that a month ago' and not be interested.
TLDR: it's not always about the money.
Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo: Reach all were leaked before their release dates in (if sources are correct) fairly similar situations, so 343 shouldn't be worried or affected.Scorpid said:Poor guys at 343 studios... They make their first game in which is on top of that a legacy series like Halo and it gets pirated 3 weeks before they can even ship the game. Got to feel bad about that for them.
