"Thank you. So what is it?"

"We believe we can increase your engines efficiency by another 7.76 percent. We are aware that it is not a large amount, but we are also aware that you do not have a GUARDIAN system in place. Our fighters are not numerous enough to protect this ship, therefore retreat may be necessary in the coming mission. In order to implement these changes however, we need complete access to your Engineering deck. We felt it prudent to request your permission before overriding your codes and making said changes ourselves."

?Hm? Can you give me the details of this GUARDIAN system? Because we have homing missiles on our ship alongside homing plasma missiles.?

"Hm... Can you give me the details of this GUARDIAN system?

Alpha activated his omni-tool and uploaded the basics of a human-equivalent system that had a 70% chance of being able to be implemented easily on the bridge's display. He also uploaded a simulation of a GARDIAN system in place and one with the Geth's speculations of the ship without the system. But that was only if they acquired the parts.

"As you can see, your homing missiles are nowhere near as effective as the standard human vessel GARDIAN system. Plasma is, effectively, not sufficient against a massive fighter attack as you can see. What it is, is what you would organics would call lasers that cut through most shields as well as alloys. It can't be implemented yet, as we do not have the materials to begin the process."

Nassa thought for a moment and then decided to just go with it. "I will allow you to implement the system, and I will help you get the parts. But under one condition, you will not leak the information to anyone or spread it to other Geth. It must stay on this ship and this ship alone until I give authorization."

Sarah simply nodded as Jastis left the armory and turned to Sargent Eli "i don't have a firm grasp on what happened, i was just thawed out my self, but apparently there was a malfunction of some sort force us to drop out of Slipspace, so for the foreseeable future, we won't be going to Reach." she said giving him a moment to process the information.

"as for all the new aliens on the ship, apparently the Slipspace malfunction tore a hole between dimensions, and now we're in one where the Covenant, and its races don't exist, in its place there seems to be a 'Citadel Council' and in place of the UNSC they have this 'System's Alliance' and the two seem to not be at war so that's a plus guess"

Sarah again pausing to let him process the information given "as to why these Council aliens are on our ship, the Captain has worked some kinda deal with them, we'll be working for, and with their own forces to 'earn our keep' while we're in their part of the universe" she said finishing her check on her pistol and holstered it "so gear up Sargent, we have a mission already. one of their colony's was hit by an unknown group, sadly i don't have any mission details beyond that, but i assume we'll be performing search and rescue along with wiping out hostiles" she said as she started the check on her assault rifle

Murphy sped along the hangar bay once again, keeping a level path. They had completed their O-Course training, and were now trying to use a Banshee as a dropship for the Warthog. They couldn't get enough power out of the Covenant vehicle to make it work.

"Damn it!" Murphy yelled as the Hog got a few feet off the ground, then fell again.

Tired, sore, and frustrated, the marines decided to call it a day. They parked their contraption in a corner of the hangar and slapped OPSEC signs all over it, hoping that would at least deter a few people from snooping into their redneck engineering project.

"Alright, I'm headed off to the range. Who's coming with me?" Murphy pulled his weapon off the seat beside him and started out the door, followed by his squad.

When he arrived at the range, Murphy found it heavily populated by officers from the Citadel. All the firing lanes were full, but Murphy found Quintus and got in line behind him. From the outside, it must have looked odd, a greasy, sweaty Marine holding his personal weapons right behind a the always pristine gleam of an officer.

But Murphy never really cared about that.

Alpha twitched his head to the side, as the database on human body language suggested,"We are confused. This GARDIAN system is standard for all human vessels above fighter class. There is nothing to spread or "leak" that is not already known to the Geth. We are simply offering a system similar to your dreadnought class vessel. It will be difficult to implement, as your ship is many times larger than even a Reaper flagship."

Luna walked into the armory and found she was among others from this ship. "Greetings." She said giving a quick wave to the people gathered. She walked over to a locker and took the rifle off of her back. It unfolded itself to its full length. It had an extended barrel mod and a 1x scope on it.

She admired her baby, the weapon she had carried with her for the past couple of years. Noticing some of the looks she was getting from those she didn't know around the room. "I apologize, My name is Luna T'sair. Pleased to make your acquaintance." she said.

"See, this ship isn't a Human ship from the Alliance, this is from the UNSC, and while we maybe less advanced in some places and more in others. We don't want any technology that could alter this dimension's balance of power to be built by everyone."

Down in the Cryo-Chamber Bay, technicians began the thawing process of all individuals stored on board the UNSC Broken Destiny; one such individual, was ODST Staff Sergeant Everett Kerrigan. There was a brief hiss of steam as the chamber door swung open, and out stepped Everett, who was feeling a little sleepy eyed.

"Whats the situation, we arrived at Reach already?" Everett asked with a brief yawn, as he was put through the standard motor control tests that came with prolonged stays in cryo-sleep.

"No sir, in fact, slip space jump went wrong somehow, and orders from above have been given to thaw all you guys out." One of the technicians reported, as he went over some readings on a nearby console. After the final few tests, the other technician spoke.

"Looks like your good to go sir. Head over to the armoury, someone there should be able to fill you in on the specifics of the situation." He said with a hurried voice, as he gestured towards the entrance to the cryo-chamber bay. Everett gave a quick nod, before heading out of the room. He soon got into an elevator, and headed up to the armoury level.

"Wonder why everyone is in a rush around here. Could it be that we're under attack? No, it can't be. Might as well get the answers I seek over at the armoury." He thought to himself upon exiting the elevator, and quickly making his way over to the armoury. Upon his arrival, he could see that it was full of activity, but not just from standard UNSC Marines, but some beings that he had never seen before.

"Well, this should be interesting." Everett said to himself, as he made his way over to some people who he remembered were also in cryo-pods.

"ODST Staff Sergeant Everett Kerrigan reporting for duty. Can someone explain to me what is going on here? I only managed to get a brief explanation from the technicians before I was sent here. And also, can someone explain to me, well... what these, aliens are doing here?" He asked in a slightly confused manner, still trying to get the lingering effects of cryo-sleep from out of his system.

Sarah had just finished her explanation to SGT Eli when the blue alien walked in "hi" she said simply as she finished her rifle check, then grabbed a couple Plasma Grenades, just in case.

"I apologize, My name is Luna T'sair. Pleased to make your acquaintance."

Sarah looked the blue alien over a little "Sarah" she said rather plainly, trying not to sound offensive, as she fired on the Plasma Sword she kept with her, a weapon she stolen for the intention of several, up close and personal' kills of Covenant commanders if given the change as her revenge. "sorry if i seem cold, I'm just not big on 'aliens'" she said, shutting weapon down and holstering it as well.

"ODST Staff Sergeant Everett Kerrigan reporting for duty. Can somepony explain to me what is going on here? I only managed to get a brief explanation from the technicians before I was sent here. And also, can somepony explain to me, well... what these, aliens are doing here?"

Sarah sighed "hope Jastis gets back soon" she grumbled a little "anyway, as some one probably told you, the Slipspace jump went wrong, there was a malfunction of some sort and the RUNNING theory is we're in some kinda of alternate dimension, or universe, which ever is easier to get you head around, a to why the aliens" pointing to Luna "are here, we apparently dropped out of Slipspace in they're back yard, 'Citadel Council' space, as i've been told, all i really know about them is they pretty much run this part of space, and the Captain worked out some kind, only bit of which i know is that so long as we're here, we work for them" she said

"which brings us to then next important bit of information, we're getting sent out, one of they're colony's was attacked, donno by who but that's what we're going to find out, which is all i know for sure, but I'd guess search and rescue as well as elimination of hostiles"

"Its alright, only the Sang-heli I believe she was, was open to new species. But pleased to meet you Sarah. I'm an asari, there's also an old friend of mine on board of the same species. She's going to be helping your medics and doctors incase anyone gets injured by weapons of this universe." She said then heard the sergeant speak up only to be responded by Sarah.

"Sergent, Sarah is pretty much right on the nail. The reason why there are a number of new species on the ship is because the council didn't want a ship never seen before running around with no experience of how to deal with threats in this universe." She explained.

Sierra Crown

Crown and her squad finished their lunch, getting the little bit of information they could from the various species on board. They gathered around her and arrived at the armory. This colony wasn't that far off and although she trusted them, Murphy's Law was still in effect, first the slipspace jump, then the ship getting conscripted, the last thing she wanted was their equipment failing on them on a planet that didn't exist in their dimension.

Arriving in the armory, they quickly found their lockers and suit up. Meeks suited up in the CQB variant, slightly different to her own demolition variant, battle rifle and shotgun being his loadout. Leppy and Chagerben in the standard armor with battle- and assault-rifle. And finally the Rookie in his rarer Sharpshooter armor, sniper, anti-material according to his file. The kid was more than a bit green, but his scores on marksmanship were better than some Spartans, he just needed more than simulations, and considering the recent shift, they were all going to need to start their training over if there were anywhere near as many species here as what Leppy had found on his brief scan through the computers on the Citadel.

The Lt. was the last to finish suiting up, her Galilean heavy as ever, but it had saved her squad's life more times than she cared to give it up for. The shotgun on her back and the pistol still in it's holster were for when that wasn't needed. Finally she had two satchel charges wrapped around her legs, unarmed, but easy to detach, arm, and blow when it was needed. Bunkers, buildings, and tanks were never safe around her.

The squad then lined up in front of her as she and Meeks gave them a cursory check. They all looked unsure of what they were going to find down there, but she wasn't going to let them get stupid. Each and every one of them were going to get home somehow.

"That is not possible, the Geth have already begun building a prototype from the scans we took of your ship when it arrived in our universe. We have no reason to use the technology you carry aboard your ship, we simply wish to understand you and this is the best way to facilitate this experience for us. You have nothing to fear from the Geth, there is less than a .001% chance of a Geth having the information taken from them. And of that small percentage, the only ones capable of the feat are the Creators and possibly a few members of the Salarian STG."

She knew there would be no point in further arguing, and Jastis wasn?t completely trusting of the Geth but they had little to no choice. ?Alright, you may do it. Just send the data of what you need to us and we will get it for you.?

"Its alright, only the Sang-heli I believe she was, was open to new species."

"she? we have a female elite on board?" Sarah said offhandedly "thought they didn't let they're woman fight" she said before snapping back, "anyway, I'll try to get along with you 'Citadel' Aliens" and after a moment offered her hand to Luna to shake, reminding her self 'these aren't Covenant', even though she was still very uneasy about having so many more aliens on board

"Anyway, as some one probably told you, the Slipspace jump went wrong, there was a malfunction of some sort and the RUNNING theory is we're in some kinda of alternate dimension, or universe, which ever is easier to get you head around, a to why the aliens." The female Spartan said pointing to a 'Citadel Race' being known as Luna, she then continued. "Are here, we apparently dropped out of Slipspace in they're back yard, 'Citadel Council' space, as I've been told, all I really know about them is they pretty much run this part of space, and the Captain worked out some kind, only bit of which I know is that so long as we're here, we work for them." The Spartan then finished speaking, only to be continued on by Luna.

"Sergeant, Sarah is pretty much right on the nail. The reason why there are a number of new species on the ship is because the Council didn't want a ship never seen before running around with no experience of how to deal with threats in this universe." Luna explained, clutching onto what looked like a sniper rifle, if thats what it was in this universe. Everett thought for a moment, giving himself time to take in all this new information.

"Well, thank you very kindly ladies for bringing me up to speed on current events. If we are going to be going on a mission soon, no doubt to prove the worth of the UNSC, I may as well get myself armed and armoured for whatever this place can throw at us." Everett remarked, showing a brief smile to the two women, before heading off to collect his gear. He was soon met by one of the quartermasters.

"Ah, Staff Sergeant Kerrigan, glad to see you've woken up from the land of the nod." The man said with a brief chuckle.

"Yeah yeah, very nice to see you too Francis. Now, tell me, did my armour and weapons get brought on board?" Everett asked with a rather stern tone of voice.

"Jeez man lighten up, it was just a joke. Yeah, your gear got brought on board, and has been stored here ever since you went into cryo-sleep. Should be enough ammunition supplied with your guns to last whatever these new guys are throwing us into." Francis, slightly scared by the ODST's tone. Everett soon went over to the armour stand and weapons stand that Francis pointed him at, and got suited up.

"Its good to be back in the saddle." Everett thought to himself, chuckling to himself underneath his helmet as he finished putting on his partially customised Sharpshooter armour. It took a few moments for the VISR (Visual Intelligence System, Reconnaissance) to become fully operational, what with it being a new location, but it soon started giving out all the various battle data, and waypoint information.

"Well, at least that appears to working. Might have to give it a while to adjust to this new universe though." Everett said, as he began making weapons checks. First came his twin combat knives, which he tossed in the air a few times, finishing with a few practice stabs before placing them in the holsters. After making sure his gear functioned properly and loading them up with ammunition, he made his way back to the others.

"Well, at least our equipment appears to be working." Everett casually remarked to the group that was beginning to form.

"thought they didn't let they're woman fight"
"turns out they do, she seems pretty happy about being able to prove herself in combat." Luna said and took the hand, shaking it. "But please, call us council races. Aliens is such a Xenophobist term." she said smiling.

At this time. Mee walked into the armory rubbing her head. She walked over to her locker and began to get suited up. Once again, the sangheili worked with the complicated armoring process.

Luna Pointed over to the sangheili. "Thats Mee, she's the one i was speaking of before."

Sarah looked over to Mee, all she saw was just 'another Covenant solider' "I'm sure she is" her tone icing over, she might be willing to give these new aliens a chance, but 'Covenant', no chance "there's a Spartan named Jastis i was waiting on, but if we're going to be deployed soon then i need to hit the range, knock the frost off ya know, if you see him let him know ok" she said to Luna before exiting the room and heading for the shooting range

"You know, I think I'll do the same. No doubt all that time spent in cryo-sleep, has made my skills a little rusty. Better make sure that they are up to scratch if we're going to do well. If anyone needs me, I'll be down the shooting range." Everett said to anyone that was listening, and followed Sarah down to the shooting range.

Eli had slipped away at some point to get suited up, and now came out slightly behind the others in his full Marksman ODST battle dress. The helmet was polarized. "I'll tag along, always good to get some time in down the range before a mission. Warm up those nice killer instincts." Eli had his pistol holstered at a quickdraw leg-position, and his battle rifle over his back.
