""Cool, Red Team did great as well. First round was relatively okay, then we had to take down a Wraith; then finished off with a Spartan, that was a little more difficult, but it was fun. Fortunately for us, no one went down either. Certainly was fun seeing Lieutenant Senshi pull off a Biotic ability; he just charged right into the Spartan. I think all in all, we are pretty much set for Rokonis." Everett said with a smile.

"So, what are you doing standing out here then Sarah?"
"Staff Sargent Murphy invited the team to watch some Baseball, though look like I'm the only one taking him up on the offer"

Sarah said with a rather smug tone, but probably meant to sound different, like proud of her accomplishment.

"Staff Sergeant Murphy invited the team to watch some Baseball, though look like I'm the only one taking him up on the offer." She sounded a little down towards the end, probably because no one was going to join her and Murphy.

"I see, well first off; glad I'm on your side, wouldn't want to know what it feels like to be at the receiving end of one of your CQC attacks. Secondly, would you and more so Murphy mind if I join you to watch some Baseball?"

Sarah shrugged "i've always 'been good' up close, the instructor said i have a natural gift for it, likely to compensate for my rather poor aim" she giggled "anyway, i don't see why not, the more the merrier i say"

"SIMULATION OVER." He heard over the room's intercom.

Damn... That was good... Kenneth thought, bending over to one knee to catch his breathe.

Seeing everybody wandering off, Kenneth did so as well, the simulation being tiring. (Eventually) finding his way into the shower locker-rooms, Kenneth removed his armor shrugging off a few lingering feelings.

SSG Murphy

Murphy heard knocking on the door and opened it wearing nothing but his PT shorts and flip-flops, expecting it to be someone who forgot a CAC card on the way to a briefing. He was a little embarrassed to find Sarah and Everett standing outside his door.

"Hey guys," he said sheepishly, "the game's loaded up, let me grab a shirt and I'll join you."

Murphy found himself blushing a little. Out of her armor, Sarah was really cute. He threw on his shirt and led them down the hall to the commons, his flip flops slapping against his feet as he went.

When they reached the commons Murphy realized just how sparse it really was. There was a small sofa facing a screen, a table with a few games, and a reading station set up. Murphy welcomed them to sit on the couch and hit play on the screen. He flopped down beside Sarah and settled in to watch the game. He liked doing things like this. It reminded him of home. The crack of the bat and cheer of the crowd faded to memories of the mountains he'd been told he still smelled like. A hit deep to right field snapped him back in.

"Ooh, now that's a nice hit."

Tethys glanced up from his slouched position on the bunk and glared at the monitor.
"Very well then." He hissed, before getting to his feet and going to the door, which now opened automatically. He stepped through, fixing his eyes on the position of each marine in turn, scanning the layout of the room, and searching for a weapons locker or storage room where his weapons and Omni-tool may have been stored. He committed it all to memory, knowing that he might get the chance to return here later, and would need to be able to find his way around quickly and quietly. His fists clenched at his sides. He would not be able to do much now, but if he came back here, no one would get in his way.

Sarah sat between the two ODSTs, she was never really Baseball people, she was more NFL people, so it took her a few innings to get into it, in particular, a play where right field stole a home run by diving over the wall for the catch

Kenneth continued wandering about UNSC Broken Destiny, noticing sound coming coming from the many halls. It was a Baseball game. Mentally shrugging, he walked towards the noise, eventually find the Commons area seeing Sarah, Murphy and Everett.

Keeping his distance from the three, he walked over to the reading station and relax alittle, thinking back before the Reaper War.

As they sat and watched the game Murphy's mind turned to the upcoming mission.

"What do you think we'll find on Ronokis?" He thought out loud.

Sarah thought for a moment "who knows, they haven't even told us anything about this place other then 'it's been hit', it's kinda annoying really" she said leaning back, her mind drifting a bit "and I'm not sure how much i care, this isn't our universe" she thought out loud, then sighed "forget i said that, i was just thinking about home ...."

Kenneth was idly watching the game from a distance, but upon hearing Sarah he let out a cough, showing alittle bit of his Biotic powers by generating dark energy around his head.

Murphy had wondered when the Lieutenant would jump in on the conversation, and the cough let him know. He turned to see a dark aura around Kenneth's head.

"LT, what are we looking at? Will I have plasma or lead fly by my skull?"

Oh great this guy... Kenneth stopped his little Biotic show before saying.

"Lead most likely. If you guys are the only surprise that this Universe got." he put it simply.

Sarah turned at the sound of some one coughing to see some guy with a dark aura around his head "you should get that checked out, a dark glow like that can't be healthy" she said before turning back to the game, disinterested in this apparent lieutenant.

And this is why I hate people... Kenneth mentally snarked, turning his attention away from the Spartan. Goddamned 'Super Soldier'... Just wait until your shields drop and you get a Biotic Singularity to your face, that'll learn ya...

One look at Kenneth and Murphy could tell he hadn't changed a bit from that in the bar. He turned his attention back to the game, turned the volume up to an annoying level, and draped his arm around Sarah, making sure that the surly LT saw.

When Sarah looked at him, Murphy just winked and tilted his head back, gesturing to the biotic in the back of the room. His sly grin gave away his intentions, he just wanted to make the LT uncomfortable.

Sarah looked at the arm that wrapped around her, and then to Murphy, then to the LT, and a sly grin crossed her face and she took it a step further and planted a kiss a deep on Murphy's lips, after which she wrapped her arm around him as well as Everett

Everett was watching the baseball game that was being shown, pretending to be unaware of the conversation that was happening nearby between Murphy, Sarah, and Kenneth; mostly out of not wanting to get involved. He then felt an arm across his shoulders, turning his head he found that the arm belonged to Sarah. Taking a moment to analyze the situation, he figured that this was an attempt to annoy Kenneth. During this, Murphy had increased the volume to a high level.

'Very clever guys.' Everett said to himself, yawning briefly, before putting his arm around Sarah.

"Certainly is a good game Murphy, although I haven't watched much Baseball myself. You interested in any other sports?"

Kenneth looked over to Murphy seeing his actions, as well as Sarah's. Raising an eyebrow and shrugging, he looked away from the two imbeciles, and took his seat next to the Reading station. Sighing, he look out his dog tags again, wrapping the metal band that held them together around his pointed finger and started swinging them around in a small circle. He was already lost in thought, ignoring the majority of the white noise that Murphy tried to do.

Amy... I wonder what you would have thought about this... Kenneth thought.

As Sarah's lips pressed against his Murphy was a little surprised, but also happy that she had decided to play along. Plus the kiss was nice. He even kissed her back. When Sarah's arm went around Everett Murphy laughed.

"Now we have a threesome." He remarked.

"Certainly is a good game Murphy, although I haven't watched much Baseball myself. You interested in any other sports?" Asked Everett.

"Yeah, I'll occasionally watch soccer when I get a chance. What about you?"
