You must have been one of the most permanently banned users on this site
Also may I ask why were you banned the second time?
Actually it is most probable that the spartans Fred, Linda, and Will also received Mark VI's after returning to Earth.Utarefson said:Is it just me or are those Spartans wearing a Mjölnir Mark VI?
AFAIK, John was the only one who used one of those in combat...
I still haven't played Halo Wars yet,so i don't know if those are Mark IV...
Me too. I love Bones. RahXephon was awesome.ChromeAlchemist said:Looks mad crazy yo!
Such a Bones whore. I think I felt a tinge of excitement when their name came up. I think this looks very, very promising in my eyes. Previews on Xbox live means this thing is going to sell like stink in a sauna.
Um, what? The story is amazing. The games are just a small part of it. And no, there will always be stories people think will be better, and you admit to not reading the books, completely negating your own points.Rawker said:the story wasn't as great as it was played out to be, and im sure there are plenty of better stories out there they could run in an anime. I will admit, I haven't read any of the books,
I've played all of the games, and the what i seemed to have gathered is that the forerunners made the halo rings as a last resort when the flood attacked. The covenant is using the rings for there own stupid cult, holding close to the same beliefs of our terrorists today, that if they commit suicide, heaven will be waiting for them. Humanity is just trying not to get the snot nuked out of them and stop the covenant. this i've gathered this from playing the first 2 halo games at my friends house and actually owning the 3rd. If this isn't the basic idea of the halo series, then they are sending some real mixed messages. I can only assume the books go into further detail or branch off into a completely different storyJiraiya72 said:Um, what? The story is amazing. The games are just a small part of it. Kelly, maybe? Dunno, never paid that much attention to Halo.Jiraiya72 said:Maybe you should read the books.AmrasCalmacil said:Okay, it looks pretty fancy. Wonder who the blonde woman is, I never even knew there were female Spartans.
Frank O'Donnell has confirmed on halo.bungie.org that that is part of the short that pretty much just for fun and is not canon-- we don't know how many other things in that trailer were from that short, so any of them could be "fake" in the sense that we're not being asked to take them seriously. Also he confirmed earlier at Comic Con that only one of the shorts will star the Master Chief and all seven will come out at once. He also confirmed on H.B.O that the "space motorcycles" or "X-wings" or "budget-deficit Longswords" are purpose-built and not meant for regular travel, and said that one of the shorts will be completely CG. I hope that allays a few worries or fears. If it doesn't for you: if you feel you'll lose respect for Bungie, AFAIK they have no say in this as Halo is now wholly owned by Microsoft; if you want to still hope, several people that used to be at Bungie (chief among them being Frank O'Connor) are now at Microsoft under the banned 343 Industries along with some other talented video game makers and they are overseeing it but giving the animation studios the creative freedom they think they need.CantFaketheFunk said:(though I have to admit, I groaned upon seeing the one Spartan with the serial number '1337.')
