Holy crap, mind if I ask why you buy the games several times? Lost the cds or something or do you just like the games to much? :D
Buying the games for different systems, or buyng new copies when I misplace the disks. Half-Life 2 was bought for the Xbox, the 360 and the PC (twice).

I've bought Warcraft III: Battle Chest 5 times so far, 1 as a gift to my brother, another as a gifts to a friend and 3 for myself which I lost. It was still worth every cent, I love the crap out of that game and would be willing to buy it twice more to still have it, it's easily the game I have played the most (what with custom maps and all) and I love it to death.

I bought Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory twice, the first disc kinda broke.
My heart died the day when I discovered its mangled remains under the leg of my chair.

Yup, bought Otogi twice, Driv3r twice, Burnout Revenge three times, FarCry 2 twice, bought Morrowind three times(Once for the normal version on Xbox, another for the GotY Xbox copy, and then finally on the PC)

There's more for sure but I can't remember them right now.
I try to not sell my games anymore.

I almost never buy games twice, since I don't want to pay for an experience I already had.

The only games I bought double was when it was announced that Mass Effect 3 used Origin. Since I didn't want to have the program on my PC I rebought ME 1 & 2 for the Xbox360..

I bought the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, and I had already bought Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 a few years before, so I guess that counts.

I bought Hunted: The Demon's Forge on Xbox360 as something to play coop with my boyfriend. But I'm not very good at playing shooters with a controller at the best of times and Hunted is not the best of games! So I sold it and bought two PC copies for the same price. With the ability to use a mouse, the game is actually pretty playable.

Also, I bought a standard copy of Borderlands (back when it was vaguely new) and then (about a month ago) sold that copy and bought the GotY edition (with all the DLC) on Steam instead.

Back in highschool I lent a friend of mine my copy of Tales of Symphonia. A couple months later he gave it to a mutual friend of our to give back to me, but by the time I got my hands on it again it only had Disc 1 (of 2). Second disc vanished, no one knew where it was. I suspect that it was mixed in with the GC game collection of friend 2's brother, but when I inquired about it he flat out said "no" and didn't even look.

Eventually, I found the game again and bought it right away, no hesitation. I don't know if I'd call it my favourite GC game, but it is definitely the one I played the most so I was really glad to have it again.

Other than that, I've bought other games multiple times as they were released in different ways on different platforms. Final Fantasy 7, 8, 9 I bought on Playstation and PSN. The list of games in that sort of situation is probably larger but I cannot recall all of them at the moment.

Half Life 2 - Xbox and 360 Orange Box
FFIV - GBA and DS; I heard the DS version was vastly improved. That was a lie.
Oblivion - Twice; I made the mistake of raising up my running 360 up .01° and it ate my disk.
Metal Gear Solid - PSX and Gamecube; Didn't know it was the same game, GC version was titled "Twin Snakes".
Resident Evil 4 - Gamecube and Wii; The WiiMake was totally worth it, motion aiming and the bonus content.

I bought both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 for the X-Box 360 and PC. I also bought two copies of the Witcher 2. The first one I bought was the Collector's Edition of the game and the second version I bought was the extended edition that came out in April. I bought the extended edition just to help out CD Projekt Red.
