Have you ever bought a game multiple times?

Yep. I've officially purchased Rayman 2 twice.

Once originally on PC (a later re-release)

then I got the original game on the N64.

(The PC re-release is slightly better IMO)

Bought killer7 for PS2 on release, then found out the Gamecube version was better and picked that up a year down the line.

Imported Manhunt 2 for PSP when it was banned in the UK, and picked it up for Wii when it finally got released

I bought Fallout 3 on the PS3, then later sold my PS3. Then I bought the collectors edition for the 360. Put in over 300 hours easy on it, so i''d say I got my moneys worth.

Oh yes, but only if I love the game and feel the developers deserve my money so many times. The reasons vary, usually because a better or more "complete" version has come out, sometimes I simply have to "collect" and other times it's simply a replacement.

Then did RE2 a third time cause my brother pawned them for beer money.. made like 3 bucks..

Kotor 1 & 2 cause they vanished..

Jade Empire, just because it got mauled by my dog..

also like 9 head sets, because my dog finds it fun to eat the mouth pieces after a few hours of me playing and putting it down.. only the mouth piece.. my dog has a fetish..

I forget what game it was, but I bought 2 of the collectors edition when they first came out and sold it for trip price making my money back and then some..

I bought Dead Island for both 360 and PS3
I bought Blazblue Continuum Shift for 360, 3DS, and PS3
I bought Persona 4, and am going to buy it for Vita when it comes out.

Got the original Fallout 3 and New Vegas for the PS3 and when I got a 360 I got the Game of the Year/ Ultimate editions because I wanted to try out the DLCs. Also, to compare the systems.

Ooo, I was thinking of doing this for New Vegas. Does the PS3 version run well enough with all current patches?

Personally, I rented the Star Wars SNES games multiple times before finally buying them and I might get them on Wii, too. I'm seriously thinking of getting Jet Set Radio HD, even though I have it on Dreamcast. I bought Space Channel 5 Part 2 for my sister and her PS2 and I rebought it for myself on PS3 in HD. I might also get the Prince of Persia trilogy, which would mean rebuying the first game. My sis got me Castlevania on the game boy advance (Harmony of Dissonance) which I already had, so I traded it for Wario Ware. I rebought all three Metroid Prime games in the trilogy, but I've never opened it and I hope to sell it at a profit. I also repurchased Banjo Kazooie HD when I got Nuts and Bolts - amazon gave away copies for preorder. I also paid for Perfect Dark HD when I had it on N64.

I did buy a second copy of Halo 3 when the disk on my first game broke.

I have F.E.A.R. for both Xbox 360 and PC.

I bought Driver 3 (or Driv3r...) twice. Shut up, I was ten and didn't know better. Besides it's nowhere near as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

half life technically four times, one legit, the other one in a box set to get the expansions, the other ebay advertised the box set as half life 2 whereas it was just one with the expansions, and the last one was half life source (IT COUNTS DANG IT) with came with half life 2.

Yup. Had to buy The Sly Collection and Uncharted 3 a second time after my copies were stolen in a break-in. I also got Portal 2 for Xbox before buying again on Steam for the level editor.
