I've flagged a few trolls here and there, or if offensive language is used directly at another poster without ration or cause. With ration or cause, of course, I laugh.

The only site I've ever reported anyone on is IGN, and even then it's only those spammers who are constantly advertising some random online shopping store in broken English.

i reported one person for being plain insulting. i can take a joke, i always laugh at the British jokes on Family Guy and most other shows but some guy wasn't making a joke, he was just being offensive.

I've reported a couple people, generally just when they get overly inappropriate. Racism and "FIRST!!!" posts tend to get the report the quickest

Sometimes, if it's either spam, a bot, or straight up offensive. Which there is a lot of on this site... I was actually reported (or issued a warning) once because I got angry and made fun of the threads in the Religion and Politics section for offending people...

The last time I remember reporting someone was when that Zynga supporter came onto a random thread and filled the page with several hundred pictures of someone's intestines. Anyone else remember that?

I only report folks if they break the rules, troll, outwit me (double report!), disagree with me in the slightest, take too long to agree with me, have an avatar that gives me seizures, align their badges without feng shui, have grammatical errors, point out grammatical errors, look like they might be coming off the screen whenever I turn around, or just happen to be in view when my kid spills my beverage ("Jeez! is it too much to ask you to babysit yourself?").

Other than that, I pretty much let things be.

Anyway, I've been known to use the Report button if I've felt it was necessary; although I've begun to wonder if it actually does anything.

Are there some swamps around these parts I've been lucky enough to miss? I know well enough not to go near Israel.

I've never reported anyone on any forum for anything. I just don't feel comfortable policing other people. Not my job.
