Steam is the easiest way to buy such games. It's how I got Prototype and Bioshock.
what do you mean by steam
As in, Steam, the network for online gaming on PC? That lets you buy games online? You have to enter your age, but just lie about your date of birth and you're in.

Bah, I'm 18 so I don't waste my time worrying about this, but then again, I've been in college since I was 15, so I always just used my college ID.

I definitely remember buying Mature rated games from Wal Mart when I was 12, but then again, I do look about 5 years older than I actually am.

I ask my dad-he understands my needs for these games.

I am 15, but i can get into 18's at the cinema no questions asked. (I don't tell my dad though...he'd flip on this one)

Never tried seeing if I can buy a 18 game or DVD...i might try soon. It will surely be as easy as going to see a flim?

EDIT: forgot...I have bought a game above my age before...i have a chip-and-pin bank card...called a solo card. Not only can i use this in shops...but i can use it online. A solo card doesn't use age verification. i bought mirror's edge (16) when i was 14 with it. Woop me! Just go online.

You should get your parents to purchase the product for you.

Without going all Jack Thompson on you, the ratings board system is in place for a reason.

I know I'll probably get flamed to hell for saying that, and this, but you aren't an adult, you shouldn't be trying to circumvent this system, get your parent or guardian to purchase it for you.

Well, when I was under 18 I just went and bought them. In my experience, people usually don't care that much anyways. I was under the impression as well, that this isn't a LAW, but more a suggestion? Same with movies I thought. I never had any problems with it anyways.

Circuit City never carded me... but, before I was 17 (yah for 1 year lower ratings), I would have someone with me over 17 to get it...

Wow. In lithuania noone gives a fuck. I bet a 1000$ that a 10 year old could easilly gbuy manhunt in any store.

Ooh and not shaving makes you look younger. There is nothing more pathetic then a 14 year old with 3 hairs on his beard pretending to be an adult.

I've never been ID'd trying to buy a game, where I live unless you're clearly about ten years old they just hand them over.

I'm 16(for only 14 days) and when I go to buy those games nobody says anything, they just give me the game and take my money. I didn't even know you had to BE 18 to get them.

find a store (or store clerk) that doesn't care, or that cares more for sales than for age ratings.

that's how i used to buy my beer :D
