The ratings and age limits exist for a reason. Nothing against the original poster, but the majority of that age group isn't really mature enough to play them. Until we have a reliable standardized "maturity test", age is the best that we can go on.
That said, ratings are really parental advisories and parents can choose to buy them for their children. So ask your parents. If they don't want to you to play them, then I'd suggest you respect their wishes until you pay rent, utility, and communication bills.
Other than that, wait a year.
