Indeed, what is the point? Besides to use digital lesbians and rendered breasts to make a ludicrous amount of money more than what GoW III would have already made. Honestly, I feel ashamed by association to belong to the male side of humanity, because I know not just one, or two, but several cpies of the game will be sold based on that alone.

Just when I was hoping that humanity might have some hope after all... But no, implication of sex and a poor female actor voicing some uuhs and aahhs is still a surefire way to make bucketloads of money from gamers.

What is the point of 95% of the rest of the games content?

I find it odd that yourself and a few dozen other folks find infinite respectibility in endless bloodshed but bust out the puritan finger wag anytime any other form of entertainment is added.

Oh dear god no...how dare could they put sex in a game based off of Greek Lore where nearly every story had sex.

Yes and they were uneccessary adding nothing to the story. But instead of just leaving it out of the new game they've just made it more realistic -_-

There has been a "Sex Minigame" in every single GoW game, even the PSP one.

They have all been Quicktime Events.

It's clearly a little joke of a tradition (you even got experience for it in the past).

Calm down, step back from the keyboard, and stop taking life so seriously.

(And get off the ZP bandwagon while your at it, QTE in GoW series has always been QTE done RIGHT)

Well I suppose it was funny, although I have to say that was some of the worst voice acting I've seen in a long, long time. Just terrible. Roommate classified it as "Two Worlds Bad", and I agree. Still, I guess that's not exactly what this is about is it.

Anyway, about as erotic as a bag of squirrels, but entertaining nonetheless.

They are using sex and sexuality to market a game that isn't about sex or sexuality. They are giving the boot to an even larger part of Greek mythology to do it (more than they already are, that is) and the scene does not add to the gameplay, story, overall polish or the end value to those gamers who happen not to be 'in need of it'. ANd creating this scene cost time and money, which could have been used to improve one of the aforementioned aspects of the game.

The reason I'm griping about this is that it leads to a worse product than what it would have been without it and no one seems to give a damn because they are distracted by Teh Jubblies.

How do you know this will lead to a worse product? Have you played it all? They wouldn't have the entire damn team work on this. You're making it sound like all other production halted for weeks while they perfected this scene.

The *shwing* sound effect each time Kratos uses his other sword only made it more facepalm worthy.
