M "S" W: You see one day my momma died so I took a trip back home from, but then these cops jacked me while I was in a taxi cab and then I had go home on a bike. Then I started tagging all sorts of places around the city and then out of nowhere guns just starting popping up at my house. And then one day the police were chasing me so I ducked into a paint shop and changed the color of the car and no one followed me any more. But then the cops grabbed me again and took me outside of the city, and eventually I had to help an old hippie burn down his marijuana patch before the cops could get to it. And then I raced this blind Chinese guy who started building a casino, but before I could help him some agent from the government had me buy out an abandoned airstrip in the middle of no where so that I could jack a fighter planes for him...

2K Rep: Yes... go on...

I'm not racist but a lot of black guys seem to do whatever it takes to seem gangster and this seems like the most elaborate way someone has ever attempted to do that.
Yes, a lot of black people act gangster, eat chicken and watermelons and listen to rap music. You're either a troll, or an idiot.

Anyway, he's just a back-up singer. For hip-hop doesn't that basically just equate to grunting and saying "Yeah!" randomly?

I'm pretty sure they also need to use some variation of the pharse "motherfuckin'" and "*****" as well.
Wow, this thread is seemingly full of idiots.
That said, this guy making claims against Rockstar must have had quite a life, what with being the first man on earth to use a jetpack, especially one stolen from a high security military base. I imagine his bicycle gang had something to do with it.
For someone so quick to call other people negative things you yourself clearly don't put much brain power into what you type. I am neither of the things you claim that I am, I just go by what I see. So just do yourself a favor and stop embarrassing yourself.
Sorry, how did i "not put much brain power" into what i typed? I know the word "troll" gets thrown around far too often, but it seems like that's exactly what you're doing. Either that, or you really are an idiot. Let's analyse what you said shall we?
"I'm not racist": So before you started, you knew what you were saying would be controversial/stupid and/or racist.
"a lot of black guys seem to do whatever it takes to seem gangster": So how could this, in your head, not seem racist? Openly suggesting that blacks do their best to act as a racial stereotype...you know what never mind. It's probably best to ignore you than get into a flamewar.

He only noticed this 6 years later?

I have a feeling it's been six long years in a hard economy and now the guy is just desperate for an influx of cash.

In threads like these seeing the bit racist comments and kiddos bashing rap, it makes me feel a bit sick. I'm really ashamed to be a part of this community at times.

That's not the craziest lawsuit I've read about, but that sounds rather far-fetched.

It's awesome reading all these brilliant legal opinions. Maybe it's because I'm a law student, and maybe it's because I'm generally pro-plaintiff, but I'm actually curious to see what happens if this case makes it to discovery. I'm sure Rockstar will try to get the case dismissed, but they did interview the guy for a few hours, and it is ACTUALLY possible that the used some of his information without his consent or knowledge. If that's the case he probably should get some money from Rockstar, probably not $250 million mind you, but something.

My request for all of you though is please don't over react asking that we string plaintiff's up by the nutsack for suing for what appears from the outside to be crap. The Supreme Court is doing a bang-up job at making it more difficult to even get in the Courthouse door without the public crying out for it to be even harder.

I can smell the hand of Jack Thompson in here. Somewhere. It's all part of his plan to screw both blacks and games. But I'm on to you, Thompson! I AM!

Someone must have run out of weed and the money to buy it. If not then he clearly has been living like some kind of recluse from society. You'd think he'd have seen this sooner.
That's absurd. He sings backup for Cypress Hill. He doesn't need more to buy weed. He just shows up and gets the largest contact high in the world.

Anyway, to be fair, not playing video games probably does shield someone from the characters within them.

On the other hand, if the likeness was there, you'd think someone, somewhere would have noticed and passed it on.

Fuck and here I thought Cypress Hill were the cool/good guys >.<

Much disappointed.

Considering my older bro is a fan of Cypress and he played the living crap out of San Andreas, yeah, I'd have heard something about it.

idnt it a little late to sue over a game that got released a little over 6 years ago? also CJ,s story (and the SA setting) are pretty generic in rap songs

WOW, another pointless lawsuit by someone who just wants to get rich quick. Gotta love our judicial system and all the pointless lawsuits.
