Let me just say this. I love to watch the world burn as much as the next man. The thing that pisses me off right now is that a few of those arrested are New Zealand citizens. If the American government tries to extradite New Zealand citizens for a crime committed on NZ soil, to be punished under US law, I will be pissed. Imagine if we tried to do the same thing to an American. They wouldn't have a bar of it.
One day those dickheads in Washington are going to take it a bridge too far. I sincerely look forward to that day and I just hope that the innocent American people don't have to suffer for their ineptitude.

This is interesting to say the least.
I love how out of all of the things available to rage about, anonymous chooses trying to get revenge over a site that has always had the association of being a haven for streaming copyrighted material. To me, this makes anonymous a painfully hilarious band of dedicated idiots.
Well,it looks like the internet war has finally broken out.
Personally, I don't have a problem with this, at least not under the circumstances. You can't keep pissing off the collective internet without repercussion.
Maybe they're going overboard, but even with the blackout so few people still seem to care; if nothing else this stands the chance of gaining notice.
Time will tell whether than ends up being positive or not.

I really really hope so too. I kind of half expect something drastic to come of all this. I hope my fellow citizens don't get dragged into it too, and end up having to pay for what our leaders are doing.J-dog42 said:

As I understand it (could be wrong) Denial of Service (DoS)is when someone floods a site with so many people that it breaks. Anonymous send out the call, supporters bomb website, firewalls crash and it goes down. Please correct me if I'm wrong I don't wanna look like an idiot.JasonBurnout16 said:

Of course if someone uploads a file and names it so it looks like someone smashed their keyboard with their face then it'll take a bit longer to track down or for someone to report it, but we're seriously going to blame them for that?
