How did Valve win?

In other words: People who wern't any direct supporters of or maybe even hated/disliked Valve also joined in and voted for them because they quite simply hated Zynga, didn't consider Zynga a real game developer or whatever other reason they might have had.
Oh and there was a steam announcement about it.

Their best is not Portal, the thing you are reffering to. Its Half Life, Half life 2 and the Episodes. Far longer than 2 hours. Not a Valve fanboy, just sayin'...

Counterstrike is more accurate as more people are die hard fans of that for longer.

The 2 companies I admire most are Blizzard and Valve, unfortunately..my far more favored Game Developer didn't make it to this round, It's obvious that I would continue with Valve. Apart from that reason, Half Life 2 and its episodes..AND portal...are just...god damn awesome. and lastly..i never even HEARD of Zynga.. until this showdown started, so there you have it, lol.

.....also...BioWare and Valve shouldnt even be mentioned in the same breathe. I mean...c'mon...its VALVE for cryin out loud. no contest. BioWare is ok...Valve is a God.
