Well, my initials are C.H., so phonetically it's "sea age". What a sea age is I have yet to find out. The warmer version of an ice age, perhaps? o_O

When i played Baldurs gate I had to name my character.
I saw the disc of zork the grand inqiusitor lying around and because i had a mage I added Ka ( from ka-zam) in front.

I kept it ever since.

When I was a kid and used to play Warcraft III and Starcraft alot and by alot I mean I probably spent more time in front of the computer than sleeping, my friends would used to say "Don't you ever go outside?" and I just kinda ran with it.

I took the two most awesome things ever, and combined them together. However their combined awesomeness was to much for the internet to handle.

Hence I am now necromango (necro the mango on XNA Forums)

My surname is Jones. I was known as "crazy jones" in my school years. I was also called "jackal" or "savage" on occasion for my habit of picking the left overs of other people's meals. I combined the 2 to become "crazyjackaljones".

Generally, I will use the shortened version, "crazyjackal", unless it's taken. If it is, I will use the full pseudonym.

"Searinox" is a dragon that exists as part of an optional quest in Warcraft III during the second Human campaign mission. Arthas and his band of newly-acquired Riflemen kill him, take his heart, and turn it into a fiery weapon enchantment. I signed up for a Warcraft forum using the name "SearanoX" (spelled differently due to probably a lazy memory and because the large X looked cool to my thirteen-year-old brain).

However, that's not the whole story. I actually hate the name "searanox" (as I capitalise it now). I started using "sear" casually fairly shortly after, and someone on an IRC started using "sea" as a short form, which I have now adopted as my primary handle. The reason I still use searanox is simply name availability - sometimes sea or sear is simply not available, and I can't use special characters like dashes (i.e. sea-) to get around that, so I revert back to the old one, which is almost guaranteed to be available - I don't think anyone else uses the name (I was impersonated once on another forum by someone, but that's it).

I simply haven't come up with another name to use. What I have is familiar and it always works, so even though I'm not the biggest fan of it, since it is unique it tends to be recognised by people where a more generic name would slip through the cracks. I'm not sure how I would create a new handle at this point - it's almost like creating a new online identity (and a simple spelling change or modification doesn't really work with mine, unlike some usernames). My LIVE profile name is RideTheGallows, from an Einherjer song, but that was again due to a lack of availability. I've tried a few Norwegian and Swedish words in the past, like "Krig" or "Rov" but they don't quite work for me.

My name is Felix, I am unremarkable, but as it's the internet I can call myself super and nobody can do anything about it.

I determined my online name based on two factors

1.) A name that no one else used and had no name that are similar to it
2.) A name that did not contain a large amount of numbers or numbers substituted for letters

As for why I choose Internet Kraken specifically......I dunno.

Because Queen is the greatest band in the history of bands...and 'Don't Stop Me Now' is the greatest song in the history of songs.

My last name is Darling, which always makes me think of the Clementine song...
you know, "Oh my darlin, oh my darlin, oh my darlin Clementine..."
and the last line of the chorus is "Dreadful sorry, Clemenine." So yeah, I wasn't actually trying to be emo with my name, it just kinda came out like that.

Simple, really. I'm a fan of Fallout and I like the name, Jack. My actual name isn't Jack, but I like it anyway. I've been calling myself this ever since I joined up at a Machinima place called "Spriggs" (giving them the understanding that I like powersuits, but not necessarily Halo) and use it mostly in game-related places.
