Well, seeing as I was into NIN really hardcore back in the day (High School 2 years ago) I heard one line and thought it was fuggin' brilliant. So yeah... Creativity?

Its my first name with the last name of my favorite Gamecube FPS, Metroid Prime, plus I thought it was a unique name in this day and age, where everyone just copies off their favorite characters or uses their name with 90210 type numbers at the end.

I was playing Jedi Knight 2 on the PC, and everybody in multiplayer had these horror-inspiring names like DARTH DESTRUCTOR and BRINGER OF DOOM and a bunch of crap that showed they took themselves way too seriously, which I found hilarious. So I named myself DARTH FLOPSY to be ironic. I eventually shortened it to accommodate a clan tag. And Phlopsy is a substitute when necessary.
