I'm half native (so a minority), bisexual, trans. That covers most of the groups someone might get accused of being bigoted regarding.
The honest truth is that one way or another, I don't get accused of any ism anyway. The one or two times it's happened in my life, I've shrugged it off by basically saying "okay, if you say so." It doesn't bother me, because I know it's not true.
Also, some of my best friends
are gay. >.>
In my experience, though, the easiest way to deal with these claims is to not act in such a way in the first place. There will always be reactionary knee-jerk types, but the reality is that people tend to get called out on patterns of behaviour. Maybe it's just harder to see the pattern with me, because I hate everyone. <.<
