Think about it, get very angry, then think about it to the point that it mutates into a ridiculous fantasy, laugh.

So I guess I use my imagination when I get angry.

Usually just yell if I'm really angry (i.e. just got killed 6 times playing Halo by a swearing 12 year old child who's teabagging my corpse.) In that case, maybe make motions of flinging the controller so it's embedded in the screen of the TV.
I've learned over the years to just kind of not get angry though. I don't act out at all, and I'd like to say that I'm completely devoid of rage (which, as a wise man once said, is bad anger.)

Talk talk talk talk talk. It doesn't matter if anyone's there or not, just an endless stream of talking, sometimes about the frustration, sometimes about anything or nothing... 'till I'm all talked out. Then walk outside. Then surf the webernet. It's a long process.

Break shit...

Then break people...

And then break more shit...

And if the shit runs out(or away for that matter) we sit down and talk about our problems until more shit arrives to break!

Really rough sex... It works a charm.
This is probably the best cure. But really, I don't get angry, I get even.

Just kidding. I usually try to find something to laugh about in the situation that's making me angry, smiles always win.

Also, I work part time in an emergency room and probably 1/3 of the people that come in between 11pm and 2am have a complaint that looks like this:

Male : 16-28 yrs old : Hand injury : Intoxicated

Always from punching a wall or a car window. And they're always pricks.

Analyze or universalize the situation. In the end I find out that I have no reason to be upset, or I'm so tired of analyzing the situation that I don't give a damn.

I sit by myself and try to think it out. When that's not an option, I chug Mt. Dew like it's my last day I get to drink it and play videogames. It used to build up and build up to soul-crushing intensity but somewhere along the line my hull breached and if I let it, it just fades away. Boy, I sound like a G.D. emo. Must go shoot zombies, drink beer and hit on women...need to re-establish manhood...

Usually I would write it all out, everything that was making me angry, and then rip the pages up, or I sit and play GTA. More often now, I play Dead Rising 2, and take it all out on the mindless zombies.

I don't let things get to me in the first place. I'll get irritated and fix whatever's irritating me. If it's a person, I glare at them until they leave. If it's a project of some kind, I just leave it be for a while and come back later.

If something actually angers me, which is rare, it's usually a complete idiot who's been intentionally trying to piss me off. I bottle it up temporarily and put it to use by channeling that emotional energy into something more productive. I get quiet and tell people to leave me alone for a while, then go to work on something, typically campaigns for D&D. Oddly, these campaigns end up being some of my best.

Punch into the palm of my hand. But after I stop because it hurts... I play my guitar, it never fails.

I guess I'm a robot then. Because if feel anger setting in, I see it as a mistake/error in my judgement. Anger is completely unnecessary in life, it simply spoils what could be a good mood.

A sort of refined version of this I suppose.
