How do you explain bisexuals?

As far as I'm aware there's no thought process, conciously or not. Same as everyone else. There's an attraction, or there isn't. You can list things you find attractive, but it's something more than the some of its parts, for me.

And people can fool themsleves into behaving any number of ways, but it's my belief that sexual orientation is a spectrum, people don't fall on one side of a line or the other. They're some of the way along it, on either side.

I don't particularly like the tone of the OP, to be honest...

There's certainly the possibility of an unpleasant inference from it.

This is just silly.

Why is anyone attracted to anyone else? Bisexuals are the same, they just happen to be attracted to two genders. I also don't like how you say "vulnerable" or "manipulated". Could someone be lead to be bisexual? I think it might be possible (I am not on the "definitely wholly genetic" bandwagon for a variety of reasons). Is there anything wrong with that? If the person is unhappy, maybe. But why is being bisexual wrong if it isn't a definite, rigid genetic thing?

Also, it's dangerous to say that bisexuals "don't have a preference for gender". Some do, some don't. This distinction matters with regard to some transgender and genderfuck people.

I suppose some people just either like having sexual relations with both or just don't mind..

Personally, I assume its just for a great big ball of human lust, when you're horny not many parts of your brain will say no to more sex...

I also assume we refer more to the female bisexual rather than the male variant, which is considerably rarer..

I can't help but be curious about What actual parts of the brain/ neurochemicals dictate how sexual attraction works. Research has shown that the horomone flooding which happens during fetus development can effect what a child's preference becomes later on.

Where are you getting your facts? Porno sites have informed me of the latter tidbit, so of course I don't believe it at all.

We are hardly genetically programmed into the three categories of heterosexual, bisexual, and homosexual. Our attractions are a combination of genetic pre-programming and our reactions to our surroundings and situations. To put it simply, we are all bisexual. Some are more inclined to one sex or another, and some are interested in both.

According to Statistics Canada, 10% of Canadians are homosexual or bisexual. However, I would think that some of that 90% are lying to themselves, and some were simply to preoccupied with the opposite sex to notice a their own. I'm sure that given the right conditions, likely involving depression, those in the heterosexual category would take some interest in their own sex.

I like to think of it as not letting gender inhibit a relationship.

It doesn't mean that they try to get in everyone's pants, just that the contents of those pants isn't particularly important.

I'm not using facts at all, its just a load of personal opinion I threw together to make an argument as to what I think of bisexuals.. and the latter bit, I was using what is probably a misnomer based on pornographic evidence and experiences...

Why are you trying to explain bisexuals when you can be taking advantage of it?
You men! Go find bisexual girls and have fun!
You womenz! Go find bisexual men and have fun!
Gawd! Stop trying to screw everything up! >__<

It's just like being hetero or homosexual. You are attracted to what you're attracted to. I very much doubt there's any more thought process than with anyone else.
Edit: Ninja'd on the first part.
That pretty much sums up everything that comes to my mind about it.
I don't know why I am one, I just am.

Some people are straight

Some people are gay

Some people are attracted to both (or all, if you're omni)

That pretty much sums it up. I don't see what's to explain.

do u think a vulnerable person could be manipulated at a sensitive stage into believing he/she is gay?
Of course! Why, just the other day I manipulated a vulnerable person into believing he was black. They couldn't be born that way, of course; that's just a myth propagated by Commies.
