They couldn't really be any shorter than 5'1" if I was going to get off with them.
Someone obviously didn't read the OP.
I did, but after coming to the conclusion that no clothes are too short for fit girls, I thought I'd pretend I didn't and post something zany instead.

Well, no skirt or pair of shorts are technically too short. You wear what you wear, and like what you like.

But, for me to take a girl, or a boy, seriously. The skirt/short needs to be no shorter than above the knees.
I can promise you that nobody really wants to see my hairy-ass legs up to my crotch.
And to paraphrase Dave Chappelle: "I might confuse you with a hooker, since you clearly wear the uniform of one."

I feel sick to my stomach every time I see a 6 year old wearing tight, cut-off jeans and a tank top. Do you WANT them to be abducted?

Put the skirt and a belt on your bed, side by side, if you can't tell the difference between the two, then the skirt is too short.

All the girls around here WOULD do the shortskirt + leggings combo, but they're not allowed

why?

Well, it was okay at first, a few girls wearing it. But then the head of Sixth Form (a dull, uncharasmatic lump of coal of a woman who should have never been put in a position that required her to talk to people (she's so stupidly bad at motivating people)) saw that the girls in the younger, uniformed years (our school is year 1 through to Sixth Form, with only Sixth Form having no uniform) wearing 'innappropriate' clothing such as this. Deciding that it was the girls in Sixth Form that were inspiring such deviation (because, of course, it couldn't be that both sets of girls got the idea from the current NATIONAL fashion trend (to be fair, this silly woman has never heard of fashion...or taste...or how to be pleasant) and banned it.

I actually don't think shorts can be short enough. My reason may not be what you are expecting though. I find that woman who walk around dressed as whores are not the people I want to talk to, so it makes my job easier. If you are looking to attract that form of attention from men, you will not get my attention. There is a tasteful way to wear clothes and carry yourself.

Now I am starting to sound like an old man.
I do agree with you my good sir, while seeing girls dressed as whores is good eye candy and a sight for sore eyes thats pretty much it (for the most part). I am a Muslim and I was raised in a culture that is all about being modest and chaste and I personally have more respect for a girl (especially a hot one) that dresses modestly. This is how I see it: If you need to wear short shorts/skirts to look hot and attract attention then you are trying too hard and are prabably not worth pursuing for reasons other than looks. However, if a girl can wear a full length skirt (and shirt) and jeans that arent too tight and still look good then that's the girl I'm gonna pursue.

I think women can generally only get away with one of the following: cleavage, legs or midriff at one time without looking like a slag, in most cases.

About halfway down the thight for girls, and boys just above the knee.

Girls have been getting shorter lately. I've seen so many that are under five feet. I wonder that aspect has changed over time. I think they used to be a lot taller on average than they are now.

What about clearly underage girls in situations where they could be oogled by any number of pedophiles/creeps? And who cares if they are fat? How is it that a mountain range or a peacefull lake can be beautiful, but a human being has to give you a stiffy or a wet spot in your panties to be beautiful? And it's not just girls, boys are running around with their pants nearly around their ankles and as a gay man I have a hard time not noticing the obvious bulges and outlines that only their underwear are concealing. The trouble is that most of the time these boys seem dangerously statutory if you know what I mean (I am 35 after all), so I have prepared this conversation should I ever get the balls to start it off...

(feel free to adapt it for an overly young girl showing an overly obscene ammount of skin)

Me: Nice underwear!

Youngpunk47: OMG you're a pedophile!

Me: No, it's your unfortunate fashion sense that has made pedophiles of us all

If the comment diffuses through their thick skull at all it might make them rethink walking around in public with all their goodies hanging out where "OMG pedophiles" and other unwanted perverts might see them.

Moral of the story: If you are going to be offended by the "wrong" people noticing you or your erm... parts DO F*CKING show them off! I doesnt matter if you are girl or a guy.

I'm kind of torn on this. I want to say people should dress however they want, but at the same time I have my own idea of what presentable is, despite having no intention to enforce it. I suppose if your labia is hanging out of your shorts, it is time to go back home and change.

I don't care. People should be free to wear what they like and be comfortable with it. With one exception, for public decency sake, all genitals should be amply covered.

When you start to peel your skin off to show even more then i think you might be crossing the line. Seriously tho, if one want's to wear skimpy clothes it's their choice, just they shouldn't complain they get ogled or groped in public transport.

I could moan about ugly people wearing tight, skimpy atterie, since they hurt my aesthetic feelings but uh, again, it's their choice that they want to look like idiots. Sadly the gift of fashion was not bestowed on every mortal being.

nudity.

I kid, I kid. To qualify as shorts, they have to cover more than the person's underwear does, otherwise it's just an exceptionally large belt.
What if... they aren't wearing any underwear? :D

It's peoples own choice how they dress, even if it does happen to be like a slut...

The real problem is fems who dress this way and than get offended if anyone notices. WTF? The worst ones seem to think that they can magically be only noticed the ones they chose.

People can wear what the please, as long as they're prepared to stand tall against the storm of verbal abuse I will toss their way if I deem silly. Whatever one wears, it should be something you can justify or stand by.

Well, honestly, people need to wear what looks best on them. I don't want a larger woman walking around with a dress that goes to the middle of her thighs. And short shorts are fine, as long as it covers your ass, we're fine.
Totally agree on that one. It depends highly on the person... Luckily for us, most people know what they can or can't wear.
