So, if you live on the East Coast of the United States, I'm sure you've heard all about Scrambles the Death Dealer Hurricane Earl. If not, it's a huge, apocalyptic hurricane that will destroy the whole East Coast (just like every other one before it was undoubtedly supposed to).

So, is anybody else worried about it? Making any preparations? I live in Maine (pretty far inland, too), and they're saying it's going to come through here. I'm not too worried, though - this far north, hurricanes are way less potent. We'll probably just get some wind and rain, nothing big.

I live inland in New Jersey, and we're supposed to get next to nothing as far as a storm goes. I think the hurricane is going further out to sea than expected.

I live in Massachusetts and even then, I live in a small coastal city on the South End. I'm not worried in the least about this. The worst we're supposedly getting is some wind and rain and chances are, it won't nearly be as bad as they always make it out to be.

I live in Western New York so the most we'll get is a heavy rain, but I am looking forward to how long this and the aftermath will be on the news.

I live in the faraway forgotten lands of western Massachusetts. I'm a little nervous but i tend to be paranoid.

I have a feeling that it will end up like hurricane Floyd when i lived in NY, power outages, destroyed trees and damaged houses are all that will occur.

I plan on throwing a Hurricane party, with back-up flashlights and candles just in case, and of course Risk and Dominion.

I live in England and so I have no experience with this sort of thing except for that one time at band camp when we went on holiday to florida when Hurricane Katrina hit. What I did was sleep in the cupboard where all of the supplies were stored just in case.

I live in Ohio and those winds are gonna create another wind disaster
You mean the ones two years ago? Yes I live in Ohio too and those were horrible. Even though my power was on in a few hours after it was out.

Anyways my sister was on vacation in the East coast but she evacuated and went to a motel two hours away.. but this isn't the one I am worried about. Gaston is worrying me. I think thats the 3rd or fourth, its following Katrina's path, right up through the gulf. Lets hope its not a repeat or worse.

I wouldn't say "apocalyptic hurricane that will destroy the whole East Coast". It will cause damage, sure, but the path its taking you will get bad wind gust. Unless it curves right in land. I don't think it will be as bad as Katrina.

I used to live on the coast. Hurricanes came like machine gun bullets. Now I don't live on the coast. No more hurricanes.

Best move I ever made. (Given that I bought my own home)
