No one has mentioned your avatar? How? It's Bridget!

Seriously, how is it possible for a man not to have a crush on Bridget.
That's a dude? Oh... oh God!!!!!

Sexuallity is a rather new thing you know, before christianity arrived and F*cked everything up people, most people, went both ways. I'm glad we're returning to that, and I'd hit Robert Downey, Jr. as well... and maybe Hugh Jackman, just maybe.

Now, in all seriousness, I'm a straight man without a gram of homophobia within my body and I'm telling you now; Robert Downey Jr is the man I'd give a smack straight on the kisser if ever given the chance.

Do you have someone like that? Some male actor, singer, game protagonist, or other that you really fancy, and believe to be totally above awesome? Doesn't matter if he's factual or fictional!
[sub]Girls, feel free to list a female as well![/sub]
I'm totally straight and I agree with you there.

I also have a Man-Crush on David Mitchell. On his damn sexy logic, I don't actually fancy him:
For... obvious reasons.
Oh I do as well! You cannot dislike his logic and rants.

I have at least one.

Stephen Fry! Not for his good looks, though I do not find him unattractive, but for his charm, intelligence, humor, lovelyness, articulation and wit.

Just watch this:

<youtube=s_osQvkeNRM>
<youtube=NL5WVecNdhk>

Yes they are lengthy, but you must take your time to enjoy Mr.Fry.
If not, watch the first one.

Oh! And I'm not gay, but sometimes I must doubt myself.
As much of a product of the ruthless machismo of my generation that I am and undeniably a manly man of manly manliness, Stephen Fry makes me seriously reconsider my sexual preference. Not even the young and slender Jeeves & Wooster -Stephen, but the latest, lovably flabby model. Every week he's on QI and I see he's lost some weight, I cry a little.

Look at him. I want to kiss that man on the mouth.

You thought I was going to say "Christopher Lambert," didn't you?

Damn this man and his awesomeness.

Pffffff, it's not silly to have a crush on a member of the same gender! It's normal; most people are at least a LITTLE bisexual, your sexuality merely depends on what impulses and attractions you choose, or feel the need, to act upon.

I have several girl-crushes! I'm most definitely straight, but would not hesitate to go temporarily lesbian for some beautiful women, if asked:

I really could go on with this list. It's not that I idolize them ridiculously and want to BE them or something, I just genuinely think they're really, really, really hot.

I must say, this is quite the interesting thread. While I'm perfectly straight and have no sexual interest in any other man (already implied by the thread, but I'm just 'double clarifying' it), I must say, I love Patrick Stewart for his voice. If I ever get extremely wealthy, I want him to follow me around and narrate my life (not really though, that would be very strange; just trying to emphasize a point here!).

Oh, yeah, and as already mentioned, Robert Downy Jr. and Johnny Depp are pretty awesome.

But then again the Hellsing writers say he's genderless so I'm not too sure.
I think every woman who's ever read or seen Hellsing wants Alucard and some of the guys do too.

New to the Escapist forums but I've gotta say awesome, happy-making threads like these are why this is my new fave spot to waste my time.

I'd do Hugh Laurie in a huge lorrie (or anywhere). And Robert Downey Junior, of course, but that's a given.
'Course, I am openly... uhm, open... so that's not really any kind of insane revelation.
I love the self definition of "openly open" & it fits me nicely so, I kinda don't count... but here's my version:

"unlikely" crushes:
Arnold Rimmer from Red Dwarf
Kolchak (the night stalker)
Hothead Paisan
Lemmy from Journey Into Spaaaace (can you have a crush on a radio character?)
Richard Nixon (he's just so danged complicated!)

& I would say Betty White but I'm pretty sure everyone has a crush on her now. :)

I get girl crushes all the time, but the only that doesn't seem to go away is my crush for Emma Anzai. Google her and tell me she's not a little piece of heaven. Bassist, quiet girl and overall nice person. *insert mesmerizing look here*

I know he's not bi, but I can't seem to picture him ever saying no to anyone on this planet. Lucky guy got to snog so many people during his acting years... not to mention Nine and Ten (well the one with Tennant was a joke off set, but still).

Despite being straighter than an arrow - if Joseph Gordon-Levitt ever asked me out for a romantic dinner in the evening, I'd at least consider it... and probably say yes.
No one could say no to that picture. Seriously, his expression just makes you wanna ask all dazed "buh, so where are we going for dinner?"

Robert Downey Jr
That one guy in Inception... Um, I forget his name.
