I'd remove every instance of unnecessary 'Pony Hate'.

I enjoy the show (as you might guess form my avatar), but I don't write/ read the fanfiction, don't have the songs on my ipod, don't draw/ look at fan art or subscribe to any pony websites. I am a member of the Escapist MLP group only so I can get updates on new episodes. My avatar is really the only 'extra-pony activity' I have.

All in all why does it bother people more than any other meme, since to the people who post pony reaction images etc. that's essentially what it is. The people who complain need to grow up and stop assuming we're all like that, stop being playa h8rs.

In all seriousness though, I'm not trying to start a pony argument, just explaining my reasoning.

A real sysadmin would probably do it all through a terminal, not a web-browser control panel, but that said...

- Shut down facebook every day for an hour at the same time, and laugh at how it makes front-page news because of the riots
- Write a script so that every millionth twitter tag was swapped with the millionth and first
- Change the responses on "we the people" in a witty way
- Create a large anonymity network (basically donate more servers to tor), and hamper censorship in opressive regimes
- Impose a mandatory CPU tax of 10% on non-idle computers, and 100% on idle computers, to learn many new things through distributed computing.

And finally, I'd install Linux on EVERYTHING.

Damn, I genuinely hadn't thought of that. All the computers in the world apart from the one I was using (it can be an endangered species).

Eh, I'd create a forum of my own where people can debate (within the structured guidelines of an intellectual debate) what they'd like from me. Which ever group puts forth the best argument gets what they want. None of my actions are permanent and there will always be an option open to change things back if it's not working out like people had hoped.

This is what the Chinese have done and what the american government is trying to do now (e.g. Sopa,NDAA,PIPA) you can't censor opinions you can't do anything without risking tearing the whole thing down.
The internet is free and even if i could control it and do good I wouldn't because I'd be no better than them.

Now this might be controversial, but I would do... *dramatic drum roll* absolutely nothing. I don't want absolute control over anything, and if I used that power, I'd most likely use it for my own ends, and that wouldn't help most people. I guess if I had to take down something, I'd take down phishing sites and the like, but anyone with a brain can avoid most of those.

Fixed that for you. Im not sure what you heard about 4chan, or what you saw if you did visit, but its a completely normal website. More hostile, sure, but thats about it.

As admin of the entire internet, I don't have to actually care. "More Hostile" is a good enough reason for me to can it. Since it isn't doing the world any kind of service, aside from producing meme pictures, there is no need for it. And don't forget that people fought over fucking Boxxy on there.
