Have to say, it was much more impressive than the last trailer, which made me think that the film was going to be an outright parody. I don't know much about the comics, but this trailer made the actor seem a lot more plausible for the role.

At any rate, if there's a sequel, maybe we'll get to see Hal's wife in the refrigerator (wrong lantern, but hey :p).

I liked this better than the old trailer, however, the mask just looks... off.

Well that was certainly an improvement. I for one am willing to pay for a ticket to see Ryan Reynolds blow stuff the fuck up with a gatling gun made of willpower.

After the first trailer I had this horrible feeling that this was just going to be another 'Transformers' movie where I desperately wanted it to be good but got let down. After the second trailer my expectations are rising. It still feels like Hal and the costume are down in the uncanny valley for me. It's like, "I know who this is, I know what that is, but it's just ever so slightly off!" Hopefully I'll be able to tell that little voice in the back of my head to shut up while I'm watching it though. Can't wait.

EDIT:

It's gotta be the eyes. It bugs me how they just kind of seem to 'float' in the mask.

As am i.
Now here's to hoping the action scenes will be awesome.

Also, who the hell makes these captchas? i can't write in ancient sumerian, so don't expect me to.

Wait... what is this feeling? Could it be? Why I think it is...

Yes. I am actually feeling the urge to watch a DC Comics adaptation that doesn't have the word "Batman" in it.

Much improved.

Oh yeah, that's MUCH better than the first trailer. Plus I'm glad they're doing GL's origin without making Sinestro the primary villain. Lot of people forget that before he betrayed the Corps and forged the Qwardian Power Rings, he was pretty much one of the best of the aformentioned Corps.

Much better but....you know what, I'm taking a wait and see approach, maybe what they're aiming for will work.

I thought the last trailer was actually pretty cool. I never liked the Green Lantern bu these two trailers have convinced me that the movie might actually be pretty good.

Damn, that was a good trailer. I can't wait for this movie. I think Ryan Reynolds is a great person to have as Hal Jordan as well. I know he can handle the easy going Hal easy, I look forward to how well he does the serious parts of the character, but the scenes look very promising.

Edit: Let's face facts, people are going to hate this movie, and others are going to love it. I just hate how it probably won't lead to a second movie, so they should probably refrain from leaving an opening to a sequel. It will either be too much like the comic, or not enough like the comic. People don't seem to be able to handle it either way. They should probably just stick to animated movies, most of those from DC have been really good.

Looks spectacularly awesome and will definetly be going to see it. But i can't stand the guy who plays Hal Jordan, there's just something about him that ruffles my jimmy's.
I feel the same way, just when I look at him, eugh.

It could also be the fact that I found out early on that the guy who played Angel was interested in playing Hal Jordan.

I know that this is a silly complaint but... Why the heck so much CGI?

Seriously? Come on, Sinestro is not hard to do without CGI.

Other than that awesomesauce.

Also, WTF is wrong with Hal's mask. It looks just silly.

It would appear sinestro is going to be in his pre-betrayal glory. Neat.

Much better.
Phew, you had me worried for a second with that last one. This trailer really says "galaxy-spanning superhero epic," much better that the first trailer which was more like "lol, u guys we made another superhero summer action flick."

Still no guarantee of quality, but I'm much more confident.

Is that the Yellow element? or something else?
I think it's Phalanx. A space-parasite/bug wich feeds on fear and produces the yellow lantern-light that has similar properties to the green lantern-light. In the comics it possessed Hal Jordan and made him go evil and try to destroy the green lanterns.
I'm kinda suprised that they would consider putting Phalanx in the first movie, but at the same time I kinda get it.

Don't you mean Parallax? Its the embodiment of fear (which produces the yellow light deadly to the green lanterns power of will). He's kinda the biggest enemy of the GL corps, it would be wrong to not put him into the film, I thought that was already confirmed. It'll also set up Sinestro turning so he can form the Sinestro corps in the next film, plus I think Star Sapphire is getting set up to be in it to.

Then they'll try and make sense of Blackest Night in a third one and mess it all up:) Could be good if they do it right, or am I thinking ahead too far?
