Watching the trailer again makes me excited again. I love the way he recites the oath.

Much better effects this time around, though I can't seem to take the pink dudes seriously.

Looks real interesting. I love the Green Lantern oath thing, it's soooo.....epically heroic. I'll definitely give it a shot if I come around to it.

.........brb...gotta change my shorts...

I get the feeling I am going to be disappointed in the overall movie though. I am a huge GL fan and expect this to piss me off.

His mask looked ridiculous but when you think about it it's made of green magic so it can't exactly be realistically done. Anyway like most people seem to agree here: it looks way better then the first trailer.

Wait... what is this feeling? Could it be? Why I think it is...

Yes. I am actually feeling the urge to watch a DC Comics adaptation that doesn't have the word "Batman" in it.

Much improved.
You must never watch the DC animated movies then. With the exception of that one Batman one where its four kids tellin stories about seein batman (cant remember the name, all I remember was all four art styles they used were pretty crud...though I get the reason why) I havent been disappointed yet. Marvel animated movies on the other hand make me want to punch somethin...especially Planet Hulk. F that movie so hard.

I'm pretty sure he meant draws as in equals, not draws as in attracts.

Very CG heavy. Course that's not necessarily a bad thing, so long as it all looks good. Which is what this movie looks like so far. Color me excited!

That was an awesome trailer. I don't know who wrote the Green Lantern oath, but it is powerful.
Wow, a lot of love for the oath here.

I think it's a bit cheesy, and I actually get embarrassed when I hear it. But it supposedly made some kid cry at ComicCon this year when Ryan said it to him.

Maybe I'm missing something.

Also does it sound like Ryan says "In brightest DIE", instead of 'Day'?

I liked this better than the old trailer, however, the mask just looks... off.
That's what I was going to comment on too. The suit is passable, but the mask is blatant and awful CG. I hope they fix it.

Edit: Anyone else think Ryan Reynolds sounds a lot like Sam Worthington when he's doing an American accent?

Gotham Knight? Um...it was epic. If you're a fan of anime it would been an added bonus to see those different styles. Especially from the Ninja Scroll dudes, Madhouse.

I was pretty impressed by this trailer, although Ryan Reynolds lousy acting is still the weak point in my opinion.

I'm sorry but the Green Lantern is perhaps the lamest super-hero of the DC Universe. In the Justice League only Aqua Man is more useless. After watching this trailer and hearing about this film I was not just amazed they made this, but will probably ignore the Green Lantern's greatest weakness: the color yellow. That's right The Green Lantern cannot combat the color yellow. So if you laid a trap just right you could crush this 'super-hero' with a crate's worth of banana's. It doesn't even have to a specific yellow in many cases, so a guy spray painted yellow could essentially wipe the floor with all of the Green Lanterns.
