In Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion what do you think your character was in prison for at the beginning?

My character in the game was a mass murderer and thief, so I can easily see that turning into my character having to serve a very long jail sentence. Best explanation I have.

I think mine was probably a case of mistaken identity. Mine's a good girl!
Either that, or she had sex with the King's wife or something. And, for the record, the Queen totally enjoyed it ;)

I had sex with the kings wife and daughter then killed the king and all the guards with one swipe of my gutiar played an awsome solo and became god. *cause the game will be glitchy and exploited for invincibility like oblivion*

Tried to hump the Queen or a princess :p

I antecedently sleep in the wrong bed... But really, how would I suppose to know that it was the king bed and that the hot girl in the bed was the queen?

I can't believe there's so many people that didn't know that Tamriel is ruled by an emperor, you know, the second character you meet at the start of the game?
Yeah well u see i Screwed the Princess and the Queen so hard that they were wiped from everyone's memory
That's not the point.

If you have an Emperor, you have an Empress, NOT a queen.

Also, this is a forum, not a chat website. Try to spell properly.

I was an orphan who managed to sneak into the prison cell, but then I couldn't get out. And so I spent my whole life down there...

Judging by his actions following his escape from jail, probably mass murder, theivery, trespassing and vandalism among other things.

I was neither thief nor assassin at the start. I had no connection to any guilds or towns. I had no friends or family in the world it would seem. The bounty of the world was plenty to provide for a budding warrior such as I was and without people who depended upon me I almost certainly didn't resort to something stupid and desperate.

Given all of that, the likely cause of my incarceration was combat. I suspect that, after stopping by the merchant's inn for lodging and drinks, someone might have made a rude remark regarding my ancestry and I was forced to remind the gentleman that running one's mouth comes with consequences sooner or later.

I've started waaaaaaaaaaaaay too many characters in Oblivion to keep track of them all, so I like to think the Empire was hunting down the last remnants of the Guild of Generally Awesome People

Was a really shitty assassin. Tried to kill the local jewel merchant and failed. Funny thing is she got out, reaped her revenge, got her jewels, and finally was accepted to the dark brotherhood.
