Nah man Soap is badass, could just be because he is scottish that I like him though. For both of the MW games I have always cared more about the SAS/141 characters than the US marines. I was gutted when Ghost and Roach got screwed over, Price coming back was awesome too. I find it hard to care about the US marine characters because those missions tend to just be a run and gun type affair.

well, if trey keeps dedicated servers, and don't have a total BS story to string together set pieces, then i will be happy that mw2 is a single, albeit VERY DARK spot on the CoD franchise.
and really, if they do 'nam, then worse case is that we have a mildly OP AK47 or M16 spiritually successor to mp40.7
or m60..which would be pretty damn nice.

Honestly I hope they keep making Modern Warfares... not so much because I want to keep playing it, but because I've been rooting for those squatters at modernwarfare4.com for some time now.

I TOTALLY agree on the marines, they don't speak to me at all... I never once find myself living the moment while being a marine, but with the SAS I'm always into it^^. Ghost I loved, and truth be told I liked Roach better as "me" than I liked Soap as me... I mean, Soap... Price was the greatest, I had just about stopped crying cause I lost him in MW1^^. I miss Gaz...

Money is definately something that companies want, and money is definately something companies get.

They just want to try and make it seem more shocking when they reveal the sequel. They wouldn't have stuck that cliffhanger on if they didn't intend to have another game.

treyarch need to innovate slightly out of that time period world war 2 - viatnam, all seems to run with the trend of pacific fighting which doesn't seem to differ

perhaps a new world epic involving muskets and taking the ports of america from the british? old timey guns perhaps cannons and bayonets, it has the makings of epic and awesome for me

Due to serious melee technicalities, first person medieval combat will always suck.

Then you have never played Dark Messiah, the melee in that game was the best I have ever played, and incredibly fun.

I would like a third one, they can quit afterwards. But what the hell happens after the final level? The ending is just screaming: MODERN WARFARE THREEEEEE.

God, I hate it when developers leave people hanging in an open ending with no decent closure.
