Infinity Ward Not Making Modern Warfare 3

Finally. Call of Duty has had the crap milked out of it, and I'm glad to hear that they're going to do something new. They have some talent, and I'd like to see it get put towards something new and creative.

Woah... we need at least one more to finish of the trilogy!!!

The trilogy? So the 4th sequel of a game needs a trilogy? The numbering is screwier than Resident Evil.

maybe they will put some actual "Modern" guns in the next "modern warfare" rather than tacking on heartbeat sensors to guns from the previous century. While the ranger, 1887, AK47, and Revolver are all cool, they are...well...not modern...The 1887 was made in the year 1887...


A land warrior perk over a constant UAV HUD would have been more suitable to...

I disagree. They have no where to go but up as far as the single player experience goes.

Walk across no-mans land. Get shot.
Play as another character.
Repeat.

Oh my god... if treyarch gets COD production, they will make the games no longer interconnect, add more strange gibbing and give you a gun at the start of the multiplayer that gets an underbarrel minigun when you get 2 kills with it.

Why shouldn't we have some old guns in there? People will be using sawed off shotguns for years upon years to come and both the rangers and 1887s are publicly available. (you have to do the sawing for yourself) As for revolvers, why not? They fire a large caliber round at high velocity. In game, it's allot more useful than the desert eagle, a much more "Modern" gun.

Good. IW absolutely shit the bed with MW2 and I'm not supporting their future efforts (I'll consider a rental to see at least.)

ya know... I think a medieval warfare would be a fun game to play, but I think that game is something that should stand on it's own... I wouldn't put the call of duty moniker on that

So now that they're supposedly not making a sequel, people want it. If they did make a sequel, I'd be willing to be people would complain that they're milking a successful franchise. And does anyone remember the guys holding modernwarfare4.com for ransom? Haha.
