I've been asked what I would do if I were in the same situation again (ex used to get really physical - leaving claw marks that would last for months, throwing fists, trying and occasionally succeeding in pulling hair out of my head). If it happened again, I'd apologize, try to share blame but, failing that, accept all of it, wait for her to go to work, then either change the locks and notify the landlord or grab all of my shit and move, depending on how dangerous/stalkerish she and her friends are. No exceptions.DarthScorpio11 said:snip
Where you live is also important. I was sharing the above with a co-worker, and she said that she had a drinking problem and had recently assaulted her fiance's friend at a golf tournament, and that the police had had to pull her off of him (he didn't touch her once; remember, this is all HER point of view); that he was placed on charges of assault, that SHE tried to reverse while trying to turn herself in, and that the police and the courts both told her that she was the victim. I live in Texas; if your province/state is anything like mine, you don't ever want to be in a physical fight with a woman for any reason, ever.
