funnily enough, its also the game that will validate them making a "multiplayer only" video game
and the backlash of that will either give them more money or crash and burn (right now i dont know what the current generation of gamers wants... and if this "Multiplayer experience" is for real or only a thrend that will go away in a year or so)
why oh why do the main stream guys keep being blinded by "multiplayer" and "achievements" and stuff like that?? why cant they realize they are paying for the same experience with each installment, i mean, i know the games are "different" but it all boils down to "kill that-protect that-capture that" the game modes are almost all the same.
Because they are fun to play?...which is kind of the point of videogames to begin with...
yes of course, but its the same "fun", there are relativelly more fun games with varied experiences, dont tell me you dont have fun with "Fallout" or "Mass effect" kind of games, i´m not bashing the "Call of duty" experience, but with the state of "single player" so left appart and such a let down, the publisher seems to think only multiplayer games are worth a try
that is to say, the "game" is only "fun" when you play with other people, wich as we all know is a bunch of bollocks, the game can be fun with single player, but they only focus on the multiplayer because it´s the selling point, wouldnt you want a game that focuses on multiplayer but also haves a broad-interesting-intense single player experience?? i know i would, but the publishers simply dont care.
I´m not against fun, but so far it feels that people are only "jumping on the multiplayer" a new game comes out, they trash the old game, MW2 in this case because their friends have the new BLOPS, so you are paying to play with your friends, not to play your videogame, its all good if you dont care trashing your previous game, but i know that its not worth to pay 90 bucks just for the multiplayer, wich a lot of games in this generation focus in, just being the "next big thing" in multiplayer isn´t enough in my opinion
i know that if i buy blops i will discard MW2, because the single player on MW2 wasnt that good, i did with the first MW, but i keep playing again and again games like Mass effect, gears of war, even the Halo franchize has more going in single player than blops, hell, i play every year my copy of Mario 64 and Majoras Mask, those were really good single player adventures
thats what i mean by being "blinded" by multiplayer
