Please explain to me the problem with putting you in the shoes of an American agent circa Bay of Pigs and having them act as though, gasp, they believed Castro was a bad guy worth taking down. You know, like anyone who would sign up for a suicide mission to Cuba would think at the time.Sturmdolch said:Cuba really annoyed me because of it's blatant xenophobic, anti-Cuban, pro-American propaganda. I felt like an evil prick during the mission.
Vorkuta was awesome! I loved the part were you were behind the cart as they pushed it and you had to stay behind while shooting. It just felt awesome, the guy calling out and you looking and shooting.JourneyThroughHell said:Eh... Well, yes, maybe, but I didn't really notice anything that wrong. The Cuban soldiers are portrayed badly, sure, but that's Call Of Duty for you. They don't do the enemies noble or anything.Sturmdolch said:Cuba really annoyed me because of it's blatant xenophobic, anti-Cuban, pro-American propaganda. I found those to be pretty much the best ones in the game.
I think the reason I didn't like the second mission might have been because I was still annoyed at the first one. I felt it was a little cheesy. Then I got to the motorcycle chase and I've really liked the campaign since then! To be honest, if I went back and played Vorkuta, I'd probably like it more.
And that bit withwas fantastic, to my mind.notCastro and that girl who shoots at you afterwards
Also, I loved, LOVED Vorkuta. And I'm Russian! Figures I would hate it.
You talk as though no ones ever made a multiplayer only game or as if its a stupid idea (tf2, counterstrike anyone?). I disagree, its much better if games focus on one thing rather than try to be two games in one.HentMas said:funnily enough, its also the game that will validate them making a "multiplayer only" video game
Funny because it's actually really good.PhiMed said:Well, it's official: It doesn't matter how crappy your game is. Advertise the hell out of it, and not only will you sell well, but you'll break records.
I haven't bought it, but a friend brought it over to play. No sir. I don't like it.

no,no, you got me wrong, what i meant to say is that now they will launch full AAA titles based only around multi-player, tf2 is not a 90 bucks game, and well, i dont know a lot about counter strike to formulate an oppinion.Banok said:You talk as though no ones ever made a multiplayer only game or as if its a stupid idea (tf2, counterstrike anyone?). Sorry, couldn't resist.
It just isn't fun to me. Maybe with time I'd come to enjoy it if I bought it, but it didn't impress me.
It has all the problems of past COD titles (any lag will result in an avalanche of cheap deaths, spawns will often place you in enemy crosshairs, etc.) but added some new ones (advancements system takes away sense of progression, truly awful graphics, sound made irrelevant, nerfed perks, matchmaking system makes staying in a party IMPOSSIBLE).
All in all, unless all my friends play it a lot, I'll probably be going somewhere else for my multiplayer FPS fun.
