I've beaten the game twice now, once on harden, once on Veteran. I'm not sure if that means I'm REALLY good, or if this game is slightly easier than the others. Still, no level with a timer on it, so that was a good thing. Fun game though. I enjoy it.

I still have no idea who that woman is who stares at you while you're walking through the Pentagon. Anyone?

You talk as though no ones ever made a multiplayer only game or as if its a stupid idea (tf2, counterstrike anyone?). I disagree, its much better if games focus on one thing rather than try to be two games in one.

besides I never liked the singleplayer in cod games anyway its boring, haven't even bothered starting it in black ops yet. why fight stupid AI when you can pit yourself against real humans, and its not like the singleplayer parts ever have engaging stories to tell.
To top that off, has anyone genuinely enjoyed Single Player Bomberman/Mario Party over playing with your mates?

Yes.. but. Surely it doesn't take a genius to see that part of black ops' success was because of the success of MW2?

I think we now have enough evidence to conclude with 100% certainty that the majority of people are utter, total, reject morons, with the common sense of The Tick, the morality of The Joker and all the taste of an LSD-soaked hippy from the 60's.

There is no other explanation for why this sinking mediocrity continues to perform like this.

Of course, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick had a lot to brag about. "Call of Duty has become the first entertainment property in history to set five-day launch records for two consecutive years across all forms of entertainment," Kotick said. "The title's success illustrates the mass appeal of interactive entertainment as millions of consumers are choosing to play Call of Duty: Black Ops at unprecedented levels rather than engage in other forms of media."

I like the idea of games making more money than any other form of entertainment. Makes it harder for people to look down on games players. But we are not quite there yet as games have great launches and get lots of records, but I don't think have the longevity that films do in getting revenue. Pretty much everyone who wants to get the game get it int the first few weeks. I would love to see a games life time revenue vs a films life time revenue.

But anyway good in the games industry, just a shame that is it this games that has to get the record. A game with hardly any single player campaign and and rather basic multiplayer. In comparison to something like Battlefield.

Meh I'm still not gonna buy it xD Overpriced for a Multiplayer game xD I got Team fortress 2, Counter Strike Source ect ect I dont need another one xD

I'm aware it has a "Single Player" but from what i've heard and read even here on the escapist Single Player is a waste of time and ?59.99 for MP.. No thanks
It was one of my favorite campaigns, although ive only played through the middle at my friends house. i just got it yesterday and havent got to play it yet. The MP functions pretty well, having taken out the annoyances from MW2 (Quik-Scoping, Get 30 FMJ Kills through objects for that extended mag i want so badly) although there is one flaw... Flamethrowers online are TOO MUCH.
