In theory, MW2 was a fucking awesome game! If they just released one patch, that fixed a few flaws, I think most people would be playing that now then Black Ops.

MW2 was just a patch away from being an incredible shooter. If IW hadn't fallen apart, imagine how it could have been...

The more I think about it, the more im done with COD. Black Ops was just... Damn. I dont even know what to say. I got to 5th prestige and gave up on that game, started playing Battlefield again. That fucking hit detection man... That fucking hit detection.

I'm inclined to agree. After I spent a painful half hour ragin at Black OPs today where my bullets seemed to be made of paper or feathers, I have no wish to re-visit it any time soon.

Hell, I even have clips in my file share of getting accidental kills by shooting 3-4 feet to the side of dudes.

At least IW seems to have a bit better hit ditection.

Ok, it's a little unclear, but it says something like:
"One, destroy enemy reliance on..." and something else. Couldn't really catch the last part.

Sounds like the first part of a list of objectives. Maybe you play as Russians again, like in World at War.

Why are people discussing this, excitedly even? It's Modern frickin Warfare 3, the third clone - I'm sorry, "sequel" - whose release was set in stone before MW2 was even announced. There will be nothing new in it, there is nothing surprising about it, and it will only continue to hold back (though I'd call it vicious murder of) what was once the most awesome genre in gaming.

For the love of god, stop talking about it, stop thinking about it (the devs and publisher sure aren't), and above all stop buying it.

They say customers vote with their wallets. If that's true, you're electing Chester A. Arthur's VP's niece's doll's head-of-straw as King of the World.

Please. Skip MW3. For the good of all of us. I beg you.

OT: I just wanna see where the story goes. And I hope it keeps the over-the-top action feel that the last 2 had. I enjoyed the multiplayer from MW2 so I hope it remains as close to that as possible. Sure, there were OP classes, but actual skill could overcome them with ease.

If I wanted one thing, though, it'd be multiple fire rates. I really miss that.

Well its been another year and a half and they're back to make some money! A new repackaged Call of Duty game is coming, and this time they dont even try to make it unique! With a teaser trailer litteraly exactly like the last one, they've realized they're marketing to retards willing to buy anything regardless of how creativly devoid and unoriginal they are. Hell, they'll use that same damn engine for another 25 games if they have to, that money will still keep coming in. Fuck you Activison, you are the stagnating pustule that destroys the creative field of media

I wouldn't be surprised if the single player campaign was as short and confusing as that trailer, it really gave nothing away. I was at least expecting some cinematic footage, it could have been a Splinter Cell game for all that was shown, (neon green, radio chatter about stalking, it even had the turning on googles squeal at 30 seconds in.)

Otherwise, let's hope this isn't £40 on PC. The price is mainly what puts me off of CoD.

Why do people say this? Is it ironic? Because it's wrong. Every good character in every Call of Duty has been either British or Russian. Infinity Ward has a hard on for the SAS and the Soviet Union which they cannot contain.

America FUCK YEAH patriotism is what caused the deaths of 30,000 US soldiers plus potentially millions of civilians in Call of Duty universe. The bad guy in MW2 was one of those guys. American interventionism in Russian caused WW3. The Russians didn't invade because they were Commies looking to destroy the American way of life. They were retaliating. And every step of the way, Soap and Price, men so British their facial hair wear crowns, save the world. Every. Time. It makes no sense.

You mean like 98% of all cities? Also you ever been there or are you assuming? Cause it also has some of the lowest crimerates of all the 25 largest US Cities.

Also I know the incidient you're refering to, and that type of incidient is quite rare, if it was common, an incidient like that would've been reported a long time ago.
