Huh. I wikipedia'd Thompson because I was bored, and someone vandalised his page:

"...Thompson admits to having a "colorful disciplinary history" as an attorney.[12]
once a **** always a ****"

I'm not making this up.

This guy never shuts up, ven after loosing his licence. "I win again, as usual" my ass. When did he ever win a case against games?
I'd rather go to hell than to the place he thinks is heaven.

I'm afraid I might get banned if I described what I would do to a person like him if I was left in a room alone with him and a knife.

As much as I hate to say this, Mr Thompson must be allowed to peddle his bile. This will serve gaming in the long term - mostly because it makes those who oppose gaming look like screaming Luddites.

Secondly, if gamers lobby their respective governments enough times and show that they are mature - they will earn the respect (and annoyance) of their elected representatives. Spouting hyperbolic threats only makes us look like immature children throwing a tantrum.

While folks like Mr Thompson probably cannot be reasoned with, governmental types can - but only if there's enough of us to drown out the drivel that Thompson and co spouts.

I'm comfortable in the fact I have absolutely no idea who this guy is. Why would a disbarred attorney have any say in anything? Hold it- I don't want to know. I'm happy in my ignorance

I still dont get why they made such a huge deal of playing as a Taliban on the game.

Didn't he also try to sue facebook for some ridiculously high amount of money because people made Jack Thompson hate groups? He lost that one too. Also Bully, Mortal Kombat, GTA, Call of Duty MW2 etc. Hh didn't win any of those. He's such an entertainer and he doesn't even realize it. I'm actually surprised that he didn't try to commit suicide yet.

Little does he know most of us have already been there to get the really phat loot. Like seriously, does he expect us to get it in Nightmare?

What's the cheat? Up-Up-Down-Down-Left-Right-Left-Right-B-A-Start?

Aaaaaaaanywaaaaay...

I think gamers (and people that don't like him) would appreciate Jack Thompson if he did two things.

1) Do something of any value instead of being, for all intents and purposes, a bigot against a group who aren't exactly a race so no one minds.
Or,
2) NOT tell said community to "Go to Hell."

Congratulations, Mr Thompson. You had one word in a game changed. It's a huge accomplishment, especially in comparison to your others.
