What the hell can Valve do about a modder? They bought the game, they can do what they want with it, as sick as it may be. It's out of Valves control, isn't it?

It is interesting to a degree that Mr. Idiot is still alive even, i mean, he has kept quiet for a long time, relatively speaking to releases of Games which contain semi-violent Problem-solving, Dead Space 2 for example being a rather nice example. Either he kept his gob shut, or i just ignored him out of existence..
Anyhow, i dont see how the Mod is tasteless or sick or wrong. I dont think doing a "School Shooter" is right, but honestly, if you dont like it, dont play it and move on. I dont lose sleep over it. I havent seen the Mod, i sure as hell havent played it, but if i did by chance play it, then to me, it would influence nothing, it wouldnt make me feel happy, nor would it make me feel angry at those Guys that made it. I'd just put my Brain on Idle and have at it, whether i shoot Zombies, Nazis, Kittens or some imaginary Children, its all just pixels in the End and has no weight on my RL whatsoever.
Calling a Game, or rather Mod like this sad/wrong is having a interesting double standard unless you also consider shooting nazis/zombies as wrong. Either one or the other, not just flip-flopping in between. And yes that was actually meant for the Community who have called the Mod sick a few times now.
Towards Mr. Thompson however, please shut up and go die in a ditch somewhere. Your opinion has not mattered then, it does not matter now. Threatening any kind of Action against a multibillion-dollar Company will not make you any new Friends, neither would it result in anything other than another loss on your Part as you have already lost any right to pull them to Court over a Product that they have not made as such. They did not create that Modification, as such cant be held responsible for how it is made, why or how it is published to a wider Audience.

Okay let's be honest, we already knew this guy was an idiot. Does he think that Valve has any way of completely shutting down this mod? It's the internet! Once something's here, it's here forever, thus people will always have access to it. Valve could *maybe* impose some sort of punishment on people that use the mod, but they really just can't realistically stop people from using it in the first place.
