Is he still living?!

Damnit! Why can't he just take a hint that no one cares what he has to say because every word is dripping with so much bias it's not even funny.

Is he retarded?

"Other videogame related massacres." Like what?

And the whole training tool idea is just ridiculous.

I just. What the fuck?

video game massacres? what is he representing the digital remains of my rampages on prototype?
i think he's referencing murders of real people supposedly caused my video games but really just caused by insane people also if he thinks the Taliban think this is realistic enough to be used as a training tool then surely its a positive thing cause now the Taliban are scared s**tless cause they think US soldiers can survive rpg blasts and sixty bullets hitting them

Heh, I wonder if maybe in the future, people took war into the video games. Eg:

America: We wan't to exterminate the terrorists from your country

Afganistan: Ok, let's settle this on the battlefield.

Modern Warfare is loaded, and the battle commences.

Why must old boring people hate on video games so damn much. Seriously. Can I kick him? While I'm shirtless to flaunt my youth and then throw a video game controller at his head?
Sure, just realize that when your old and helpless the younger generation will probably want to do worse things to you.
Japanese tentacle rape porn is getting disturbingly popular....just saying the next generation may be a little to psychotic to fuck with.
True. Oh god we really are all going to kill ourselves off aren't we?

What will happen when Duke Nukem actually comes out? I think he'll just get a heart attack from everything in that game.

then when we lose America accuses them of using hacks. Even after no hacking is proven or found, they invade.
But at least it will be more fun.
Hahaha, yeah.

This man can kiss the fat at the end of my back that is my ass.

He's saying that this videogame will give people the tools to kill the US military.

...

(facepalm)

I can't help but suspect that the game developers/publishers are actually paying Jack Thompson to do things like this so as to create publicity. I mean, why did he need to mention the release date? It seems pretty win/win as the games get publicity and so does Jack. He also never seems to achieve anything.

...Honestly, does anyone actually care anymore what Thompson is saying or doing? He wasn't much of an authority back when he was a lawyer and he is even less so now that he has been disbarred.

The only reason he became such a celebrity is beacuse the hostile responses from gamers made him into one. If we had just ignored him, people would have realised sooner what kind of a troll he is. As it was, the gaming press was essentially giving him publicity by writing about him. Yes, it was bad publicity, but for Thompson's purposes, any publicity is good publicity.

Really, this has gone well beyond the limits of good taste. Jack Thompson was never a threat to us and he is even less so now that he has been disbarred. So let us do what we always should have done and just ignore him. Eventually, he is going to end up just like Patricia Pulling...a lone voice shouting in obscurity.
