The description has been changed from "Tactical Espionage Action" to "Lightning Bolt Action". So MGS: Rising might have very different gameplay, and the risk is seeing whether or not the fans like it.

You know I hope it bombs. From what I have read he seems to want to move on to other things yet he seems to keep getting pulled back. At the same time I love me some Metal Gear. There is no other game in the world that gives me that sense of awe, fear, and absolute bliss.

I don't get it, does this mean he thought MSG4 was also a failure? Sure, many people didn't like MSG4, including myself (Too much damn movie, not enough game), but it still sold well all over the world. He's dumb for putting that kind of pressure on himself, but I won't complain if I never have to watch another hour long cut scene again. He should learn that people like him better when he ducttapes his mouth shut and gives us more things to shoot.

He hasn't written or directed anything worthwhile since Snatcher, and was just the producer on both the boktai and Zone of the Enders series. He's an overrated douche as far as game design goes, imo

im still holding out for his Zombie Game idea however.

Zone of the Enders 2 was by far my most favorite mech-type game of all time. Both ZoE1 and 2, combined, were shorter than most games I've played on WEBSITES... and yet it was just full of excellent gameplay.

I was wanting a damn game based off his zombie dream thing on MGS3. That was the best part of that entire game, I swear.
