L4D2 Boycott Closing Down

I still don't get it, if you don't want the game just don't buy it. Or buy it used so valve won't get your money. And really I bet a lot of people on that boy cot are gonna buy L4D2 anyway people are stupid and follow the man with the biggest stick or nicest voice or who makes them feel "good"

Strangely some of us boycotters also have our own set of thoughts, and aren't just mindlessly following someone. We aren't boycotting l4d2 because we hate that game, we are boycotting because of what they are not doing.

I think the ideas in l4d2 sound neat, the point is they weren't and aren't being used in l4d.

and not all of it can work via DLC, it would not only take time to make it but because of the changes done to the engine and AI director I doubt it can be done via DLC.

I find it sad how one/two men who founded this group turn their backs on more that 40k people and plan to get them on the "street". Founders are even worse than those trolls - they tried to destroy group (and failed), but those two are actually gonna do it. Shame on them.

And for what? A free copy of L4D2 maybe? Is Valve threatening them? Because for one of the biggest groups on Steam community you sure have a VERY hard time finding it.

Why can't they just leave the group as it is? Im sure there is someone that would LOVE to take their place. Anyone can leave when they choose to leave - no one if forcing them to stay (buy it seems like founders are forcing them to leave!).
