This is one of the worst situations imaginable. About half the fort has been injured in some way, and everyone is just crawling around trying to get help. Furthermore-
Ugh....I thought only the gods plagues could make you vomit this much. Good thing the well is located in the food stockpile, otherwise myself and the other dwarves would surely have been dehydrated by now.
I'm still not sure what to do. Any order I give is being ignored because everybody is to hurt or terrified to do anything right at the moment.

Oh thank the gods, the goblin crossbowmen appear to have run out of bolts. This means they are no longer capable of shooting at the dwarves from below. I can end the lockdown. However, most dwarves are still too terrified by the mere sight of the goblins to do any work. Still, it's better than staying locked up.

So when we built the hospital we didn't exactly plan for such a large number of patients. It's not something we can fix at the moment either since any attempts to build while the goblins camp out on the shoreline fail. Fortunately our most skilled doctor, Rowan, was not injured during the attack so he can tend to all these patients.
...of course, he would pick now to go on break. He had to step over wounded dwarves to reach the meeting hall, and he still considers this a good time to go on break.

In order to ensure that patients do not starve to death, I've reassigned some haulers to exclusively tend to the patient's needs. Of course I'm not letting them preform any medical procedures, because even if I a constantly vomiting, I'd rather keep this bolt lodged in my chest than let a dabbling surgeon take a look at it.

The goblins are still sitting on the shorelines occasionally chucking a rock at a passing dwarf. Though they know that we will not risk letting them back in they continue to stay, most likely because they are aware that their mere presence is disrupting Reveredtour. This was a victory for them, as much as I hate to admit. Though they lost soldiers, they've done an enormous amount of damage to Reveredtour. And their attacks won't stop here either. No, they will continue to beat upon us until there is nothing left but of Reveredtour but crumbling ruins. I can't allow that to happen. As soon as they leave, I shall begin preparations to combat their inevitable return.

Wolfe, you are a piece of crap. Not only did you fail to properly operate the lever, but as soon as I assign you another critical task, you decide to go on break. The dwarves here have horrible work ethic. You'd think horrible death being just a few yards away would be enough motivation for someone to move their break back a few weeks.

We are quite fortunate that Yara no longer appears to be interested in Reveredtour, and is instead content to merely roam through the local areas of the abyss. Perhaps he has proclaimed them to be his new hunting grounds. Regardless, so long as he does not attack us I see no reason to attack him at the moment. The abyss contains some valuable resources, but none that would help us in our current situation. Barring of course the holy metal...but that is strictly forbidden.

Finally, the goblins are retreating. They must have run out of supplies, otherwise they would have no doubt maintained their position. They shall return though, and with greater numbers. I don't know how long it will be until that happens, but we must start preparing immediately
Unfortunately, I found out that Zuntir bleed out today. As one the original founders and a long term friend I am sad to see him pass away, but there is no time for grieving at the moment. We must stay focused on building our defense otherwise more dwarves will meet the same fate.

Dammit, Solon was found dead in one of the beds this morning. Her wounds were worse than anyone realized. With so many dwarfs requiring medical attention, the ones with life threatening injuries are going unnoticed. There's little I can do about this either but hope for the best. At the very least the chances of other dwarves dying goes down when one dwarf passes away. That's one less dwarf to distract a doctor who is actually working at the moment.

Okay, we have serious problem. Well, to be more specific we have another serious problem. One I didn't see coming. It seems that during the course of the invasion, all of Momuz's pet octopre were killed by the goblins. This might seem like a minor issue, but it has resulted in Momuz becoming incredibly upset.
And soldiers don't tend to handle stress well...
I've advised all dwarves to stay away from him until he regains his senses. He hasn't done anything yet, but even the most innocent of actions could send him into an uncontrollable rage. Fortunately, there is nothing the military needs to attend to at the moment.
...fuck.
