It says right on general veok's profile that he was a militia captain of the lantern of sport...
Yeah that's cause I made him one. The Lantern of Sport is another term used to describe dwarve living in Reveredtour.
ohhhhh! I cant figure out how to make my guys do other things...

At least it wasn't me who trapped himself this time. Although that might have given me a nice break from my "wife".
What are you doing out of the kitchen, mason?

((tbh, I was half expecting to see you in the cage, hiding ;) ))
No! It's Sansa Stark!

If by glorious tomb you mean unmarked grave then yes, I can oblige that request. Though this may actually turn out to be nothing. Looking closer at that screenshot, it appears that there are trees surrounding the beast. It may be incapable of doing anything unless I release it, beucase in DF trees are basically impenetrable walls.

I can't tell where the forgotten beast is in that image, I'm afraid.

Ah right, Louses dont have wings, thought they did, that would be bad, flying FBs are always problematic.
... except when they fly out through your external trash chute and take on the goblin invaders. That was amusing.

Louses may not have wings in real life but neither do scorpions. The "fun" thing about Forgotten Beasts is that they take our ideas about what is normal and stomps on them. So you get giant rats with wings that also breath fire out of their slimy trunks. Forgotten Beasts can be anything the want. They can even be a bee that doesn't have wings. Not sure how that one got created but it's lack of wings didn't stop it from killing half the fort.

and all of the goblins melt due to a syndrome.
Syndromes and invaders are weird. Supposedly they can infect them, I've seen cases of this happening, but other times invaders seem immune. An example being a forgotten beast that had deadly blood. The blood had a delayed effect that didn't kick in until a few years after it had died. This effect was cuasing your skin to melt off when you touched the blood. This blood had been spread across the entire fortress, includig a huge pool of it on the ruins of the outer wall. But a pack of kobolds marched right through the blood without a scratch. That pissed me off.

Just teach a pokemon cut. That should work.

that's for bushes. trees, teach one headbutt and a random pokemon comes out.
in this game, in reveredtour, that pokemon would be a pissy skeletal sea monster or something along thoses lines.

The weird thing about trees in Dwarf Fortress is that outside of fortress mode they really are an insurmountable obstacle. In adventure mode you can't cut down trees, and your only option is to burn them down. Burning down trees just creates a massive fire and the actual tree doesn't disappear for a long time. As far as I know this only has two "useful" applications. The obvious one is that a forest fire can burn your enemies to death. The obscure and absurd one is that players may do this to light themselves on fire. They will then allow their body to burn until several layers of fat and tissue melt away. If the player survives they gain a high resistance to pain because they burnt off-half their body. It's an exploit with the way tissues work in Dwarf Fortress.

I love this LP. Dwarf me, please, if you can. You can name her Rhiannon. And I'd like to be a healer, if possible.

Wahey! And female to boot too. May Armok bless me with a meatshield baby or two.

Could I see her stats/info?
Also, are you experienced with Adventure mode? Only ever played Fortress Mode and wondering if learning about how to adventure is worth the fun too. And I admit, the chance of burning half the character's skin and fat off for a stat boost is one of the craziest things I've heard in a while.
