I won't be able to get an update out of today, as I got home late and have to do, but I'll make up for it by having a big one for either tomorrow or Thursday.
No... no update today?AlternatePFG said:I won't be able to get an update out of today, as I got home late and have to do, but I'll make up for it by having a big one for either tomorrow or Thursday.
No need my good man we can survive. Take all the time you need.AlternatePFG said:I won't be able to get an update out of today, as I got home late and have to do, but I'll make up for it by having a big one for either tomorrow or Thursday.
Hey, this is old, but I was looking the Fallout wiki, mostly to find all the fucking bobbleheads, and saw in someplace that in New Vegas your Pip-boy 3000 is still stuck in your wrist. It looks like the 3000 model can only be taken off by their wearer. How? Fuck if I know. Just a little thing.ChupathingyX said:Actually if I recall correctly, Stanley in Vault 101 mentions that you can't take the Pip-Boy off.AlternatePFG said:Wait, wait, wait. The Pip-Boy is stuck to your wrist? That makes absolutely no sense and it's never mentioned once in the entire game. This is the most contrived way to make the PC "important" so far in this game...
Why? I have no idea.
At least Obsidian retconned that little "fact" in New Vegas.
Although they are assholes, I prefer them over the actual BoS in Fallout 3...but that's not saying much. So, what do you guys think of the Outcasts in this game?
At the start of the game Doc Mitchell gives you his, so he must have taken it off at some point.JamesStone said:Hey, this is old, but I was looking the Fallout wiki, mostly to find all the fucking bobbleheads, and saw in someplace that in New Vegas your Pip-boy 3000 is still stuck in your wrist. That would have to be the stealth-flaming sword attack. That was pretty cool.AlternatePFG said:Out of the ones shown today, what is your favorite game breaking item in this game?
Ahhh, good to see you again. Still trying to stave off having to play Mothership Zeta?AlternatePFG said:Out of the ones shown today, what is your favorite game breaking item in this game?
That´s because the entire area is an reference to Van Buren.DustyDrB said:Ooh, that was a fun update. I did wander into Evergreen Mills by accident, killed Smiling Jack (I forgot why I killed him, I had no clue he had that gun. I usually don't kill non-hostiles) and got the Terrible Shotgun. It's pretty insane.
The Chinese Stealth Armor is interesting to me because it sucks in New Vegas. It provides a measly +5 to Stealth and breaks when you breathe on it. Seriously, the New Vegas version has an item HP of 40 (to give you an idea of how low that is, the Sexy Sleepwear has an item HP of 100. Pajamas > Armor in this case).
It gets better later on in the game. If you talk to Fantastic (the douchebag 'scientist' at HELIOS One) as a low INT character, he can ask you where your allegiance lies. Your response? 'Pizza', 'Warm' or 'Yum'. Yeah.Viking Incognito said:Hey, guess what? My next lesson is still in the works because my teachers are assholes, but I have some news! I just found about 5 minutes ago that in Fallout New Vegas, your intelligence dose affect some dialog! I was talking to Trudy at the beginning of the game and rather than the usual lines "I overheard your argument, what was that about?" and "I could try to repair your broken radio." my character (with an intelligence of 3) said "He looked mad, what was that about?" and "Can I fix your broken things?". Not much, but I like the effort.
And if you go to the REPCONN HQ and get stopped by a Mr Handy Robot who asks for the password that allows you to explore the floor without an onslaught of robots, your character will say, "ICE CREAM!"Melon Hunter said:It gets better later on in the game. Or when you´re talking to doctor Usanagi (the Follower of the Apocalypse that sells upgrades),after she explains everything to you, you can only awnser "so, you sell plants?"...DustyDrB said:And if you go to the REPCONN HQ and get stopped by a Mr Handy Robot who asks for the password that allows you to explore the floor without an onslaught of robots, your character will say, "ICE CREAM!"Melon Hunter said:It gets better later on in the game. ...which just so happens to be the right answer.
The Blackhawk, by far. It was a ton of fun to use.AlternatePFG said:What's your personal favorite game breaking weapon in the game?
I'd rather not get Almost Perfect myself. I mean, I'll bring it up when I can get it, but I'd rather get the fun but useless perk you get at level 30.CM156 said:The Blackhawk, by far. It was a ton of fun to use.AlternatePFG said:What's your personal favorite game breaking weapon in the game?
Also, good luck with MZ. I'm looking forward to seeing it, as I skipped it myself.
Also, will you be getting the "Almost Perfect" perk?
The nuke one? Yeah, I didn't get that.AlternatePFG said:I'd rather not get Almost Perfect myself. I'm going to go with the Gauss Rifle, even if it did have that annoying glitch.AlternatePFG said:What's your personal favorite game breaking weapon in the game?
...Nuclear anomaly, I presume?AlternatePFG said:but I'd rather get the fun but useless perk you get at level 30.
