I don't like a bunch of icons on my desktop so here's mine.
It's a Big Daddy smashing its fist through a window as if it's the monitor screen.
I am disappiont, I thought this would be a "show of your rig" type of thread, and I'd get props for having a monolithic desktop and a great mouse and decent monitor, then get scolded for my shitty rubber dome keyboard and atrociously undtidy desk covered in papers, a Killzone: Mercenary box, a bottle opener, a transformer, a moomin, my passport and an inexplicable rubber duck.

My desk is far too small so I can't has nice keyboard, I do have a nice mouse now though, just bought a Corsair Vengeance M65, so very comfy, with a nice weight and a handy sniper button under my thumb.
But yeah, One Piece. I've got a different One Piece-themed wallpaper ready for every month because apparently I have a problem, but that one's September.
I regret assigning it to March now.

If you don't know how to change icons, there's tutorials all over the web.
For any icons I had down there that weren't in the pack, I just pinned them to my Start Menu instead.
And that's pretty much it.
Note that I have no idea how Windows 8 works differently, so some or all of this could completely fail to work for you.

I've been using this Frans Lanting photograph as my background for over a year now.

And those are just the games that I have installed at this moment (like 90% of my games are just sitting in my Steam library ready to be downloaded when I decide I next want to play through them).
As for the icon cryptically labeled "Touhou Collection," that's a custom launcher I made for all my Touhou games, so I wouldn't end up with 20+ icons hogging like a quarter of my desktop.

I keep mine messy because I like to have easier access to the stuff I use, even though I never really use any programs from the second and third vertical rows.
