Gah what a pointless survey.
Non of those points seemed to address any of the problems with the game. Fable 2 IMHO is still the best in the series, Fable 3 was a huge step in the wrong direction, it wasn't open enough, the "moral" decisions were all so obviously black and white, the sanctuary and the road to rule were wastes of time, and you never really got to do anything once you became king.
The thing's I'd like to see are, once you get to a certain point in the game (say when you've got 1/5 through the main story) you can explore a large portion of the game world, and are rewarded for exploring there should be unique quests and items in areas, and you should only be able to undertake the quests for a notice board or person in the area rather than a drop menu of quests. In Fable 2 and 3 I found I wasn't exploring just pressing start going to the quest list and not looking at the beautiful detailed world around me.
Second get rid of the black and white moral system. Or at least have some shades of grey, where your not sure what the right choice is. I like it when my choices effect my game play, but the effects in Fable 2/3 aren't interesting. If I'm evil people might run away from me, if I'm good they flock round and praise, sure some decisions affect areas (like giving the warrant papers at the start of Fable 2 to the guard or criminal effects the old quarter) but they are so obviously good vs. evil. More choices like that at the beginning of Fable 3 would be nice, or if you want an example of grey moral choices effecting gameplay see Alpha Protocol.
The Road to Rule and Sanctuary were messy and I felt like I was wasting my time in them. Get rid of them please, a simple menu screen is good enough.
If I'm going to become an important figure in the world i.e. King, then my actions should matter. When I became king I was expecting some sort of management system, I could manage the kingdom and army and so forth instead we got to make the occasional black and white moral choice and that was it.
