Truth.

I am user of all three systems (Macbook Pro+Homemade PC), and they all got huge problems.

Snow Leopard - Damn thing crashes very often. Maybe it's not the bluescreen, but there's no real difference - just a spinning ball, and freezed computer to restart. Problems with handling NTFS files, crashes 30 percent of times when i copy something to external memory of any kind. And my printer doesn't work there.

Linux 10.4 - Although it haven't crashed (but it may be because i don't spend much time there), there are many problems with programs, installing things is hell, and there are no noteworthy substitutes for many essential osx/windows apps. Working there requires knowing command line.

Windows 7 - Unluckily for this comparison i had to think a lot to find something bad. Just as Linux, when used normally, it does not crash anymore (last bluescreen i remember was in Release Candidate version, during installing of beta drivers), but when you make too much mess it will slow down - registry still present.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't it make sense for Microsoft just to drop the Registry idea? I'm not sure if it's absolutely needed, but I don't think it is. Here's to hoping the next version only has a registry for older stuff, and new stuff doesn't need it!

As for linux, it doesn't crash but damn if it isn't useful for anything but internet service and general fucking around. It isn't even good for fucking around, there isn't enough fun stuff to fuck around with.
If it was that easy, MS would drop it years ago. Unluckily it's the core of Windows systems, and just deleting it (which would be hard by itself, because you would have to rewrite every little function to work in a different manner - tons of time) would stop all the programs and games from working - so "registry emulator" would be required, therefore at after releasing registry-free windows, old apps would run much slower that they used to be. Deleting registry will be slow and painful process, but it will have to happen someday. Not tomorrow. Not next year. Time, Dr. Freeman.

Linux... unluckily you are completely right, there isn't even a good music player like iTunes. There are no spreadsheets from Excel, there are no iMovie movies, and worst, there are no games. Thats why this system is used on almost all servers - core functions stable as hell, but nothing besides.

A seven-year-old Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie song? Impressive. Repackaged and made new.
I'm sure I first heard this over 10 years ago, but it's always nice to see it get a new audience, and the new clip made it even better.

I didn't even snicker once... is this supposed to be funny because of the corporately manufactured OS war by mac?

Awesome Vid nice to see it jab at all the systems XD

Also this is why I'm a mac user. I can't play games for squat and the computer does get slow and sometimes you have to replace the harddrive, but It's reliable. Just don't over work it and back up frequently.

Plus it's all nice and shiny and Kathleen :3

This was kind of adorable. I really liked it.

Poor guy can't get no love from the ladies without pain of some sort.

Oh well, every OS gets it equal. Remember kids, if you're going to troll, then .....

This user is banned for supporting trolling...that and he hasn't posted a lot lately making people sad without Phoenix Wright references.

It was a good song by the way.

Awesome double bill this week. As nice as it was seeing the Wes solo runs during Desert Bus, seeing an actual PV somehow added that little extra something.

As I saw it, Apple OS is high maintenance, Windows is unreliable and Linux plays excruciatingly hard to get.
