Can't say I'm surprised, considering that Lulzsec doesn't care who it attacks any more.
Did they ever?
Didn't they start this whole thing saying they were trying to help companies find security holes? I thought originally they were trying to claim they were 'helping' create better security. I mean it devolved into random DDoS attacks really fast, but i thought that's what the deal was originally. Someone correct me if I'm wrong (though i'm sure you will without me having to say so).
Ha...HAHAHAHA. No.

They never claimed that. They said it as a joke a few weeks ago, but they've always been about 'the lulz'. It even says so on their Twitter feed. 'World's leaders in comedy at your expense' or something of the sort.
Isnt he also thinking of Anon?
Didnt Anon say similar things?

Well I guess this means Steam'll be next on their list, they've hit all the console devs.
Hopefully they actually do something to Valve instead of getting their info just to prove they can.
Valve needs to be taken down several pegs, then have sharp pegs driven through them.
whats your problem with valve?
He never bothers telling us. All I've ever got out of him is "digital distribution is the enemy, Valve runs the biggest digital distribution service, thus Valve is the enemy".

I still don't know why he hates digital distribution, especially since I think I remember him saying he's a PC gamer...
He means Piracy.

Hmm, I havnt used xbl for over a year, should I bother changing my pass?
My 360 isnt even plugged into the internet.
I would change it just in case.

I don't have an XBox Live but I do have a hotmail (junk e-mail, but still). Just checked that list earlier on in this thread and none of my e-mails were on it, but I changed my passwords regardless. I've decided to do a Russia and ignore Lulzsec. So what needs to be done and get on with it. The less reaction you give, the more quickly they'll get bored (and desperate, but ignore those attempts too. They will bugger off eventually)

I wonder when this actually happened? The other day(Yesterday or Thursday I think?) I changed my password because while I was on MSN it came up saying I had logged in at another location when I certainly hadn't.

Yes, what needs to happen is a company who has very good relations with its customers needs its data stolen, and their customers and employees fucked with, because they are quite clearly the most heinous bunch around. All that free DLC and all those sales and all those free services!

VALVE YOU FUCKING SCUM!
Yeah, I would just ignore him. Every post I've seen of his has him insult PC gaming for no real reason, I dunno, maybe PC gaming ran over his dog when he was a kid. Either way he still seems to have some sort of fanboy rage towards it.

I hope when they go to court the judge says something like, "25 years in prison, for the lulz." something like that. Are people still actually donating to these assholes? Anyone who donated a cent needs Chuck Norris to roundhouse kick them in the balls. These guys are just assholes with no regard for other human beings and I'm disgusted by anyone actually supporting them.

I've been wondering something. Lulsec says they are doing it "for the lulz," but how many of us are actually, truly laughing? Obviously they are because they are evil like that, but other than them, who is really laughing?

I think majority of normal users are just fed up and frustrated rather than laughing.

I'm guessing fervent GameStop employee, then, since GameStop is quite injured (deservedly so) by digital distribution.

I can't say I really feel sorry for them. Yeah it's bad, but on the other hand, and ton of xbox players were complete douchebags when PSN was hacked, so guess its karma...

so... what can we do? It's clear Anon isn't going to do anything to save us, hell Anon and Lulzsec are probably the same people.

Valve issues? Cuz that seems kinda harsh, even if you just dislike the games the company puts out.

The ends don't always justify the means.... everyone is at risk now. Instead of pointing and laughing at each other we should be banding together and universally condemning these attacks.

Ok... Lulzec... it is time we beat you with goat hooves now. This has gone from random hackings to a clean sweep of every internet service on offer. WTH?! Surely even wanton destruction gets old when it is this overdone...

Well, is Games for Windows account and XBox Live accounts the same? If so, I might as well change my password.
They are, but Games for Windows is treated like a second class citizen aboard the Titantic.

Band together and do what? Most gamers out there probably don't know a thing about security or computers. Hell, most of them think that since they like to play games they could make them for a living. So, all of them together would be rather useless. People will always be attempting to hack and steal information, you can't really change that. Best to hope for is that Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, etc. keep updating and complicating their security measures.

Implying falsely I think, that they ever did give a shit who they attacked. I doubt that.

Although I see how there could be comedy in a hack, exposing pants security, then not criminally taking advantage of it. They are putting peoples passwords on the net for EVERYONE to see.

It's not exactly funny if a criminal uses it to rob everyone is it.

I would see the mirth in it otherwise.

(and yes I'm aware hacking is a crime in itself)
